Chapter 16

"Tell me about yourself." Connor and I sat on the pool stairs.

"What?" I was a little caught off guard, we haven't really talked, like actually talked. About our likes, our dislikes, hopes, and dreams.

"Here, we both ask a question every other time and we both answer it. I'll start I guess. Do you know what carreer branch you wanna get into after graduation?" He turned to face me, he looked as if he was trying to read my expression. As soon as I turned to him he looked down slowly.

"I haven't put too much thought into it yet. I really don't know actually. What about you?"

He floated on his back in the 4' ft part of pool, looking up at the sky.

"For some reason I always loved acting. Maybe something like that, I doubt it though." He noticed I was staring nd looked back at me. "Your turn."

"Um. Random fact about yourself that no one else knows."

"Hmm." He got out of the pool and took his shirt off standing next to me. He had abs, not harcore 60 pack like Tay Lautner in Twilight, but still.... okay still hot. "I have a tattoo." He knelt down beside me and turned so his back was facing me.

It was black and white wings on his back, one side angel, one side devil.

"That's a pretty big tattoo how has no one seen it?"

"I got it yesterday. Notice how it's still a little red?" He kept his shirt off and sat next to me in the pool. "Your turn." He smirked and turned to me.

"Okay, I sing. only a little though. Claudia's the only one that knows."

"Are you any good?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Lets hear it. Sing me your favorite song."

After a few minutes of hesitation I decided to."Do not laugh at me Dawson." I pointed my finger at him sternly.

"Lets ride to the sunset, I could be your best friend. Love will take us by surprise. And I'll watch you grow, you'll be beautiful. We will spread our wings and we'll fly. If you let me explore you, I will sing for you, just befor you sleep. But in this case love your besuty sings, and it goes... ohhhh ooohhh ohhh.' I trailed off. "That's all for now. Wh- what'd you think?" I stuttered.

"Wow. Wasn't expecting that. That was amazing Brooklyn." He shook his hands through his hair. I could feel feel the blood rushing to my cheeks making me blush. "My turn. Hmm..." He turned at me smirking and chuckling. "Would it be completely insane if I kissed you right now? My answer is no." He started to lean in, lust in his eyes.

"Yes, it would be completely and utterly insane." I got up as he did. He actually looked emabarrassed. "But who ever said we weren't insane?" He grabbed the end of my back and pulled me into a kiss. It was something different this time, it wasn't just steamy, it was actually passionate.

"You should sing for me more often." He breathed. I pulled away.

"Whoever said that was meant directly towards you?" I joked.

"Who said it wasn't?" He stroked my cheek laughing.

"Dammit Dawson." I bit my lip.

 This one was a little short sorry loves. School is taking over my life like it usually does ugh. Im really trying to update more I swear.

The song she sang is actually my favorite right now it's called Beauty Sings by Tatiana Manaois and its just perfection.
