"Cameron?" I asked again, shocked to see him, especially right now.

I had completely forgotten that Cameron worked nights some days a week at Olive Garden.

"Yea it's me. What's wrong?" He made me look at him.

"It's nothing." I said, not wanting to explain everything that had just happened or I might burst out crying again. He held my face in his hand and used his other hand to wipe off my last failing tear. "If it was nothing you wouldn't be crying right now Brooke. Man, you must be freezing." I knew where this was going.

"Here." He took off his volleyball sweatshirt and handed it to me. I had to admit I was freezing my ass of out here so I took it and shot him a quick smile. I put it on over my crop top and pulled my hair out the neckline of the hoodie. He sat down next to me.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

I know I had wanted to just a few minutes ago but now I realized I would probably just ball again.

"Not really actually." He nodded

"That's cool with me." There was some distance between us. Even with his hoodie, I was still shivering. He motioned for me to scoot closer. I moved over and he put his arm around me. This is what I missed about him, his caring self, the cuddling. If you would call this cuddling.

I decided to take the chance to change the subject.

"So how's Jennifer?" I smirked.

"She..." He sighed. "She cheated on me." He laughed for a second. "Ironic huh?"

"Karma's a bitch isn't it?" I nudged him.

"Smart ass." We both started laughing.

We sat there for a bit, catching up on certain things, reminiscing on memories we had, cracking jokes. The more we sat, the warmer I got.

"Oh god, I probably look like a mess." I picked up my phone to look in the camera. Cameron stopped me before I could switch to front facing picture.

"You look beautiful either way."

"Either way?" I was confused.

"Yea, all dolled up or..." He drifted off.

"Or what?"

"Or like a clown with cheap makeup from the dollar store." He laughed.

I elbowed his stomach. "Ow! Hey! Some clowns are Absolutely adorable!"

"Mhm. Oh my God you're late for work! I'm so sorry Cam!" I jumped up.

"It's ok don't worry." He got up and smiled at me.

"No seriously go, I have to go back in to my "wonderful" family dinner."

"Okay, you still have my number right?"

Did I? I think I did. Wait yea I did, last week I thought I texted Claudia but ended up texting Cameron about hot hot Harry Styles looked as Marcel in the Best Song Ever video. Oops.

"Um, yea I do."

"We'll call me if you need me or just want to talk. Okay?"

"Okay." I smiled and started to walk inside while Cameron looked through his work bag, I didn't notice he had it with him. "Oh wait! Your sweater!" I began to take it off but he pulled it back down.

"Keep it, I don't need it. Plus, it looks good on you." I rolled my eyes.

"But it's your volleyball sweatshirt."

"It doesn't mean anything." He shrugged. "Just keep it." He nudged my shoulder and then went inside before I could protest any further.

As I was about to push open the doors to go back inside I heard yelling around the corner of the building. I wouldn't have gone in fear of my safety but I swear one of the voices was Blake's.
