Remember what i said about nightmares?

Yea this, is what I was talking about.

"W-what?" I stuttered as I spoke.

"Her name is Georgia Adams and she is a very lovely woman." My dad said in a cautious voice, unsure of when he'd pushed my buttons. I breathed in and out, I should really be happy for him. I should but, I just can't believe that the only reason I'm seeing my father is because he's telling us he's leaving again.

"She has a daughter named Bailee, she's going to be new to Oak Lawn Community High School this year. She used to go to Richards but since me and Georgia are getting married, we're buying a house in Oak Lawn. We're moving closer." I still said nothing and stared at the ground. His speech got quicker and quicker. "That means I would see you guys a lot more often. I would be your father again."

"Your dad and I are agreeing to shared custody." My mom was looking directlyat me as she spoke. That caught my attention. "You would be going to your fathers' after school on tuesdays and I would pick you up at 8. Then every other weekend you'd go from 5 pm on friday, to 8 pm on sundays. Your dad would drop you guys off back here." She had a smile on her face, but not the fake kind, she was truely happy we'd have a relationship with Dad.

"What about Bailee or whatever? Where would she go when we're there?"

"She would still be there of course, unless she goes out. And I want you two to get along Brooklyn. I'm serious."

I nod my head. What could I say?

No I'm good, I'm just gonna pass up a once in a lifetime chance to reconnect with you because you're getting remarried and ruining everything I thought would be good.

"Okay." I put a fake smile on and look up. "Can't wait."

"I'm cool with it."  Blake smiles and looks at me. I am in no mood to talk to him after what I heard him talking about on the phone with Cameron.

"Me too, I can't wait!" Skylar cheered and jumped on Dad's lap. She had the biggest smile on her face.

"We know this is a lot to take in, but we both think this is best for you, all three of you. And us too, we want to be there for you guys, together. Well not together together but, you get the point." Dad seemed so happy for once.

"Well, ending that on a happy note, I am going to get ready for my lunch date." I sat up from the couch and turn towards the stairs when Blake grabbed my arm.

"Who will be accompaning you?" He said in a strict tone like he was my father.

"If it's any of your buisness, which it is not, you don't know him." I pushed his hand off of my arm and continued upstairs.

I know what he was thinking. He thought I'd be going out with Connor. I don't get all the worry about him, seriously what is the big deal? He may not be your ideal preppy braniack but, he has a lot of heart. He may hide it but you can tell. Especially how he's jealous, it's adorable. It shows he actually cares about me.

Or he just wants to get in my pants, but nevermind that.

I had no idea what to wear, it was lunch. Not dinner so it couldn't be too fancy, and I don't know if we're doing anything else after that so.

Maybe I should just stop worrying and pick something to wear.

I decided on wearing a blue, floral romper that looks like a dress, a black cardigan over it, and navy blue flats. I braided my hair into a side fishtail and pulled out some hairs to shape my face. I put on my usual makeup, but a plum colored lipstick this time.
