Next Day

Zach's POV

Today I was prepared to tell Jack and Jonah I was gay. I feel ready. Plus now I know Corbyn is gay too that's a massive confidence boost.

I got ready like usual and then headed out to meet the boys.

Jonah:Hi
Zach:Hey where's Jack?
Jonah:Dentist he'll be at school later though
Zach:Oh okay

I'm still going to tell Jonah I'll just tell Jack later.

Zach:Jonah?
Jonah:Yea
Zach:Can I tell you something?
Jonah:Yeah whats up?
Zach:So I've been wanting to tell you and Jack this for a while now but couldn't.
Jonah:Okay?
Zach:Please don't hate me but I'm gay
Jonah:Omg my friend is gay!
Zach:Jonah shhh!
Jonah:Sorry it's just I've always wanted a gay friend!
Zach:Really? Is that like your life dream or something?
Jonah:Well one of them.
Zach:Well I'm happy you accept me.
Jonah:So? Who do you like?
Zach:Erm, I don't really wanna say
Jonah:Come on you can trust me
Zach:Okay. I like Corbyn
Jonah:Besson?
Zach:Yes
Jonah:Hmm okay.
Zach:Oh and I have tea about him!
Jonah:Spill
Zach:He talks again
Jonah:No way?
Zach:Yes way
Jonah:How do you know?
Zach:Long story but I heard him.
Jonah:Okay

Lily's POV

Last night I fell asleep on Daniels shoulder while we were watching YouTube so he slept at ours. He borrowed some of Corbyn's clothes this morning and I have to say he looks so different in Corbyn's clothes.

Still cute though.

Claire:Bye you three!
Lily:Bye mom!

Once we got to school we had an announcement that the whole of the tenth grade are having an assembly this morning so we had to go there. I found Corbyn and Daniel and walked with them.

Corbyn:Do either of you know what this is about?
Daniel:No idea
Lily:Neither

I saw Jonah and looking over at us but mainly at Corbyn, he was probably realising that Corbyn was talking

Lily:Guys look at Jonah
Corbyn:What? Why? Where is he?
Lily:Over there near Mr Harris

Corbyn looked and saw Jonah he looked so shooketh with his mouth open just staring at us

Corbyn:Oh my god! I'm dying he looks so funny
Daniel:Oh my! Corbyn I think you've broken Jonah haha

The assembly started and only lasted about 25 minutes. They were just talking about upcoming tests that we would be taking in the summer.

Once it was over I was so happy to leave that room and get to physics. I walked there with Daniel and found Ella along the way.

We were told to go in groups of 3 or 4 so I went with Ella and Daniel.

Daniel went to get us the stuff we needed for the assignment and once he left the table Ella started asking so questions.

Ella:So you look pretty close to Daniel now

I decided not to tell her about the upcoming date we were going on.

Lily:Yeah we've bonded over the past week and we are now really close friends
Ella:Ouch friend zone
Lily:Well that's what he is, my friend!
Ella:Oh okay well your friend is staring at you right now so if I were you I wouldn't wanna turn around
Lily:He's probably zoned out, he does it all the time
Ella:Sureeee, he's coming back over now

Daniel:So I got us the easiest looking one about kinetic energy or something
Lily:Okay thanks Dani

We started the work and whilst Daniel was explaining something to Ella, he put his hand on my thigh but acted as if nothing was going on.

When his hand made contact with my skin, I'm wearing shorts so yes skin, my body flinched and Daniel looked at me reassuringly, sparks of electricity went through my whole body causing me to shiver and become distracted from what Daniel was saying.

Lily:Can I write the title for our presentation?
Daniel:Of course you can
Ella:Yeah but make it look pretty
Lily:Okay thanks

I started drawing out the letters at the top of our paper. Daniels hand was still on my leg and he slowly started rubbing it whilst watching me do the title.

I saw Ella stand up to get some colours so I took the opportunity to talk to Daniel

Lily:Thanks to you I have no idea what kinetic energy is
Daniel:Well I'd have to explain it again wouldn't I without distracting you this time wouldn't I princess
Lily:Please don't call me princess haha
Daniel:Why not?
Lily:Because we aren't going out
Daniel:Yet
Lily:I hate you hahaha
Daniel:No you don't
Lily:Yes I know I don't

Our faces were so close at this point and Daniels hand was still gripping my thigh

Ella:Woah break it up love birds!
Lily:What are you talking about?
Ella:Ugh never mind let's just carry on with this

I knew exactly what she was talking about but I wasn't going to make it look like I did.

For the rest of the lesson we carried on with our presentation, after a while Daniel took his hand off my thigh and so that he could do his part of the work properly. We were low key flirting and I started to slightly miss his hand on my leg but I didn't do anything about it.

Time Skip

It's currently lunch and Ella is tagging along with us for once which I'm happy about because I really like her.

Daniel and Corbyn were walking in front of us so I decided to tell Ella about the upcoming date.

Ella:So what was going on in physics then?
Lily:Erm
Ella:You know I saw that one of Daniels hands disappeared for a long time
Lily:Okay, okay, I'm gonna tell you everything if you promise not to overreact, okay?
Ella:Okay I promise
Lily:So last night Daniel took me out to the beach because he knew it is my favourite place to go to and basically he told me that he like me and that he wants to go on a date with me. Obviously me being me kissed him and agreed to go on one and then I slept on his shoulder last night and today he has literally been flirting non-stop and he had his hand on my thigh in physics. Also he called me princess for some reason
Ella:Wow. That is... I don't even know anymore! This is so amazing!!!
Lily:Shhh! He's right there
Ella:I can't believe it!
Daniel:Can't believe what?

I looked at her as if to say shut up

Ella:You and Lily are going on a date!
Daniel:Oh rightttt
Ella:I'm so happy for you both!
Lily:Thanks now can we please change the subject?
Corbyn:I can do that! Guys when are we going for food? We've been stood here for ages now
Lily:We'll go now Corbs
