7.Stay?

Lily:Oh my gosh! Corbyn you spoke! I'm so proud of you!

Instead of speaking he just looked at me and smiled.

Lily:I understand if you don't want to talk all the time, any way I like it when your silent it  adds a mysteriousness to you

Corbyn laughed when I said that. It wasn't a joke though that's the reason I went and spoke to him on my first day

Lily:I'll go and tell someone your awake

I went to the nurse that had helped Corbyn before and told her he was awake.

Nurse:Great we just have to run a few tests on him
Lily:Okay
Nurse:Did you say he was mute?

I decided not to tell her about him whispering to me

Lily:Yes he hasn't talked for about 2 years
Nurse:Okay we can set up a speech therapist for him if he wants
Lily:I'm sure he'd like that
Nurse:Okay

The nurse went in corbyns room and my phone started ringing.

Lily:Hey mom
Mom:Lil where are you?
Lily:At the hospital sorry i forgot to let you know
Mom:It's okay is everything okay?
Why are you at the hospital? Lily:Yes my friend Corbyn had a little incident and I had to get him an ambulance.
Mom:Awh you brave girl is Corbyn okay though?
Lily:Yes can you come to the hospital?
Mom:Sure where are you
Lily:Room 45 in the a+e department and ask to see Corbyn Besson
Mom:Dont worry I'm on my way!
Lily:Thank you love you
Mom:Love you too bye

The nurse came out of the room and said he was good to go home he just needed to come back in a week for a checkup and a speech therapy session

Lily:My moms coming so we can go home

He nodded and typed on his phone:

What if he does it again?

Lily:I won't let that happen

How though?

Lily:I'll ask if you can stay at mine

Really?

Lily:Yes Corbs your my friend and I hate seeing you get hurt

Thank you I love you so much as a friend obviously 😂

Lily:I love you too Corbs

We both laughed and then hugged. A few minutes later we heard a knock on the door and my mom walked in and smiled.

Mom:Hi
Lily:Hey. Corbyn this is my mom

Corbyn smiled and waved

Mom:Nice to meet you Corbyn I'm Mrs Hampton but you can call me Claire
Lily:Mom, Corbyn is mute so he doesn't talk
Mom:Oh well that just makes you even more interesting doesn't it!

Corbyn giggled and my mom smiled at him I knew that they were going to get along.

Lily:Oh mom can Corbyn stay with us a for a few days?
Mom:Of course he can, anything you need just say the word and I'll be there to help
Lily:Thanks mom

Corbyn got out his phone and typed up:

Thank you so much I appreciate it more than you can imagine!

Mom:Awh it's okay Corbyn

We signed out and went home with Corbyn. When we were in the car we saw his dad walking away from their house and out of the street so me and Corbyn decided to run over and get his stuff.

Luckily we got out before he came back but corbyns nerves were still going crazy.

Time skip

For dinner we had chicken and salad. I ate some of it and left a bit and so did Corbyn. It felt weird not being at school today but luckily my mom said that we could stay off today and tomorrow and it Friday tomorrow so we get 4 days without school

When we went upstairs me and Corbyn arranged how we were gonna sleep. I was on the air bed and Corbyn was in my bed because I insisted that he slept in the real bed.

We're sat on our phones when a question popped into my head

Lily:Corbyn?

He looked up at me

Lily:Does my mom know why you were in the hospital?

He shook his head no

Lily:Oh well you don't have to tell her if you don't want to

He typed on his phone:

I'll tell her when I feel a bit better

Lily:Okay whenever your ready Corbs!
