Chapter 19- Partaaay!

After practice he went to the locker room and showered then we went home and got changed for the dinner with the family. We got in the car and started heading to Aiden's house.

Once we got to the house and Aiden parked the car I decided to be a little kid and run out the car, forgetting to close the car door behind me. Running up to the door, holding down my cream colored lace dress so no one would see my underwear and trying not to fall in these black heels, I reached the door and rang the doorbell smiling ear to ear.

Finally someone opened the door and I saw no one at the door. Looking around confused I heard someone say, "Hey, I'm down here!" I looked down and saw Logan.

I smiled at him and bent down, squeezing his cheeks, "You're so adorable, unlike your brother."

He grabbed my hands and set them to my side, "Look babe, we're not officially related yet so you don't have to be another one of those relatives who pinch my cheeks and say, 'you've grown so much! Last time I saw you you were about this tall!' No please don't be that way." He said holding his hands up to his height.

I smiled at him, "I promise I won't be one of those Aunt's."

Saying this made me feel weird. It felt as if I was really becoming a part of this family. Like I had the choice and I decided, this is the one I love and I wanna be with him. I want to be a part of his family and I want him to be a part of my family. I didn't make that choice but I will one day with the one I really love and not someone that was chosen for me and when that day comes I'll be happy.

"You know it's not too late for you and me. You can call all of this off and be with me instead of my brother." Logan said smiling up at me.

"Oh I wish." I said smiling down at him when I felt Aiden push past me.

"Don't we all." he said still walking.

I rolled my eyes and followed behind him. He led me to the living room where everyone was and by everyone I mean everyone. My family and his family, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dad. Yes dad.

When I saw him my mouth fell open, I can't believe he had the nerve to show up here! He left and abandoned me and my mom an- wait how could my mom let him come here in the first place? I walked over to my mom and grabbed her arm.

"Mom can I talk to you?" I asked dragging her out of the room without letting her respond.

"Ow! Not so hard sweetie." My mom said to me.

"Mom why are all of our relatives here? I thought this was just a formal dinner with us, not the whole family. But most importantly why is dad here?" I asked her.

"It is a formal dinner but today's the day we announce to our family that you and Aiden are getting married." She said to me.

I frowned at her.

"Mom why are you avoiding my question." I asked her crossing my arms.

She sighed, "I think your dad should be at your wedding. I think he should be here for the announcement so I invited him and he said he would come."

I wanted to argue but she wouldn't care if I argued or not. She will make him come anyway so I decided not to argue.

"Fine he can stay but I'm not happy about it." I said to her.
