"My fingertips lightly pressed against my lips where the warmth from Taehyung's soft kisses remained.

"You're getting too involved with this mortal. Have you forgotten who you are, Faye?" Yoongi scowled, toying with one of his sharp blades as his dark abysses refused to look away from mine.

There was judgement in these eyes, and for the first time in ages, they looked at me coldly.

"No, I haven't forgotten who I am!" I hissed as the pain shot through every fiber of my human body. No, I could never forget who I was.

Not when every second I spent in Taehyung's presence, I seemed to drift further and further away from my true nature.

"You need to end this." The blond man grumbled, and in that moment, I knew. I was in too deep. This had to stop. I couldn't keep lying to myself any more. We were too different, and this dance with the devil had gone on for too long.

Because while Taehyung was falling from Heaven, I was crawling out of Hell.

Who said the devil couldn't fall in love?"

- Not your typical love story. But a love story nonetheless. -

Short summary:

Faye Starlighter is what you'd call the devil's spawn. Literally. Fed up with living under her father Lucifer's wing, she has left behind her life at the depths of Hell and has flew up to wander modern-day Earth with only one goal on her mind – to make sure those who dare break someone else's heart got their proper punishment. Thousands of men who have encountered her have been left deadly hollow inside, with no ability to love or be loved any more.

That's what they truly deserve, or so she thought, until she is assigned to pursue one of the most notorious and shameless heartthrobs in Seoul – Kim Taehyung. He's successful, charming and irresistible and needs to be taught a lesson. However, it seems like the usual way she approaches her targets won't work in this case, as he seems completely immune to her lethal charms.

What happens when he turns out to be someone completely different from the ruthless and heartless womanizer she thought him to be?

What to expect: despite the themes this book deals with, rest assured that they will not be approached in such a dark and spooky way as you probably expect when you hear the word 'devil'. This story will be more of a romantic comedy than a horror/fantasy one, more of a slice-of-life piece. It will contain a lot of fun moments, fluff but also drama, a little bit of angst, and of course, smut (if you guys have read my other stories you already know I love my smut). As you can see, there's something of everyone in there.

Attention: Just so you guys know, the female lead Faye will be a lot different from all my others main characters as in she's probably not going to be as relatable. Keep in mind that you may not understand her actions sometimes, mostly because, well... she's not exactly human. If sometimes the way her mind works seems strange to you, it's because she isn't from this world. She may annoy you at times, but please refrain from hating/bashing on her, or any other of the characters for that matter. However, I'll try to keep her as normal as a celestial being can be. If any of you enjoy more confident/bold MCs, you're probably going to like her.

Note: this story is loosely inspired by the TV show 'Lucifer' although his character in here is a lot more different than the one in the series and will not be making an appearance very often. There are going to be some resemblances in the notions I'm going to use in this story, like the notion of the devil not being entirely evil and possessing human qualities (thus his daughter as well).
