First Song

Its chapter 4!!! I hope that you guys are enjoying the story?? Haha. On a side note, I know sm trainees train only with the same gender. However, to make the story easier and more interesting, I will put both boys and girls together sometimes. Lets startttt!!!

Mark's POV 

When the teacher asked her to come up, I fully scrutinised(?) her again. She is not very skinny, just normal. She wore a snapback from an expensive brand and carried a Cath Kidston bag and wore Converse sneakers. She must be pretty well off. She tied up her hair into a neat ponytail and obviously did not wear make up like the others. Although she had a few pimples and blemishes, she is still pretty. Those can be covered up by makeup or just go to the dertamologist(?) like we all do. Her features are amazing.

"Hello everyone! I am Heo Mina from Singapore and I am 14 this year. Today is my first day. Please take care of me. Since I am not fluent in korean, I hope that you may forgive my mistakes. Thank You."-Mina

So her name is Mina... and she is younger than me by a year. She struggled to speak korean like I did when I first came here. I smiled at the thought of that. However, she is pretty good for a beginner. She did not hesitate to speak and was not afraid at all even if it is her first time. Not like me, pshhhh. She was charasmatic and had a deep voice for a girl. Although she isn't korean, I am pretty sure the company will arrange her to be in the broadcast lessons. She had the potential to be a good host/emcee in the future.

"Please show us your singing skills."-Teacher

Its is a custom in every class for new trainees to show their abilities. The teachers had to assess their ability and arrange them accordingly. I sat back and waited. I could see that she was very nervous but who wouldn't right? 

"I will be singing Only You(SNSD-TTS). This is my audition song."- Mina

The teacher turned on the music and she sang...( You can turn the music on at the side ^^)

She sang a short verse of our seniors' song. I was amazed at her melodious voice. Even the teacher was shocked at her abilities. She sounded like a lower version of Taeyeon sunbaenim. All the other trainees looked at her in disbelief, even Suki noona. She is the best trainee and is the teachers' favourite student. However, it was possible that Mina may take over her with just a few months of training. I looked at Suki noona and saw that she also felt threatened by Mina.

Mina's POV

I took a deep breath and sang my audition song. Taetiseo sunbaenim's Only You. All the eyes were on me and I looked at Yuna. She smiled at me. I took a deep breath and sang.

After I sang a short verse, everyone was looking at me. No one made a sound and it was so awkward. The teacher came to my rescue and said that it was good. She even smiled at me. I bowed and went back to take a seat. I turned back and saw Suki unnie looking at me with eyes full of hatred. I looked down and turned to Yuna instead. She gave me a thumbs up!

We had vocal lessons for 1 hour and the girls and boys proceeded to dancing class respectively. I sighed as I knew that I had to show my skills soon again and began to think about the dance i will be performing later. Suki unnie and Se Rin unnie were walking in front of us and were whispering to one another. I vaguely heard my name and looked down again. Yuna noticed it and whispered to my ear.

"They were just jealous of your good voice. You can sing really well."

I immediately grinned at her and she did the same. I am really lucky to have such a good friend. We met up with Fiona unnie on her way back from her rapping class. We stepped in the room and saw about 15-16 girls sitting in groups, chattering. This is probably the period where all the trainees will gather since it is compulsory to be able to dance very well even if you can't sing or rap. I mean look at our seniors. About 5 minutes later, 2 male teachers and a female teacher can into the room. The chatters immediately stopped and we all stood up to greet them. 

"Group 1 follow me to dance room 1, Group 2 follow Mr Kim to dance room 2 and Group 3 follow Ms Jung to dance room 3. I heard that there is a new trainee today? We will be assessing you based on your abilities. Ms Jung will perform a dance and you must copy it as much as you can. Got it? Please stand up where ever you are." a male teacher said.

I stood up and bowed. The female teacher turned on the music and started dancing...

Is this chapter okay? I know its pretty boring since there are no love lines. I mean they are only 14/15 right? Erm I did say that this sorry will go into 2017/18( Hint..Hint >.<) There might be in the future but now, I just want to focus a bit on the training side?
