The Boys

Hi!!! This is my third chapter of the day. Hope you enjoy it!

Mina's POV

" Wake up!!!!! You sleepy head!!!" 

I fluttered my eyes open and saw a beautiful angel looking at me.

"Wow! I am in heaven!! So pretty!" -Me

"What are you talking about?!?! If we are late for training we are really going to be in heaven!"- Fiona

I quickly bounced up and realise that today is my first training day! I quickly washed up and dressed myself with a crop top and high waist pants. I rushed my way to the living room and realised that everyone was eating breakfast already. I quickly took a bite and we left to the sm trainee building.  

"You guys will proceed to training as normal. I will show her around the place." Ms Rinhi, the head of trainees said. I gave a worried look to Yuna and Fiona and they gave me a reassuring look and left.

"Please come with me. I will show you around." Ms Rinhi said with fluent english.

After 2 hours of explaining everything to me, she took me to the last room.

"This is the instruments room mainly for percussion instruments which I heard that you are good at. There are no one else that plays these instruments the last one being Exo's Chan Yeol. Most of our trainees are good in piano or guitar. Only you will be allowed to enter so this room is kind of yours. Please take care of the instuments! You can stay here for 1 hour. I will pick you to your next class later." - Ms Rinhi

I nodded and went in. These instruments seems to familiar. I went through my fingers with them and recalled my days in secondary school in Singapore. I thought of my friends and family and my cheeks felt damp. I was homesick. I quickly rubbed the tears away and decided to play the drums first. 

Mark's POV

"I am so tired!! Let's go and eat" -Me

Jeno, Jae Min and I made our way to the cafeteria to have our lunch. We have been practising like a bull for the smtown concert. Suddenly, we heard music from the instruments room. We were confused as no one has been in that room for 2 years now. Is there a.... g..ghost? We slowly crept our way towards the door and opened it. I peeked inside and saw no one however someone was playing the xylophone. Suddenly, a girl popped out from nowhere and asked what were we doing.

" AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! G.......GGGGGHHHHHOOOSSSTTTTT!!!!!" the three of us exclaimed together. We fell back and ended up in a pile. Then we heard a girl's laughter.

Mina's POV 

" PPPPPPPUUUUUUUAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHAAAAAHHHHHAAAA!!!!" I laughed out loud. The boys took a look at me and quickly stood up. They all blushed and I knew they were very embarrassed. I bowed towards them and introduced myself. 

"Hello! I am a new trainee." -Me

I took a closer look at them and they all were very handsome and were about half a head taller than me. I recognised them as the SM rookies from the websites and I knew all of their names and greeted them one by one.

"How do you know our names?!?!"-Mark

I gave him a confused face and said," Erm.... Aren't you guys SM rookies? The internet is full of your information..." I chuckled. His face turned redder than before.

Mark's POV

When I heard her answer, I was so ashamed and felt really stupid. When she laughed, I felt my heart stop. A few minutes ago, when I first saw her, I never felt my heart beat so fast before. She had brown, dreamy eyes, small lips and her hair was silky and smooth. She wasn't like the other girls so polished and perfect. She wasn't typical. Her aura was captivating. I never heard such a hearfelt, loud laugh in this building since I came. All the other girls were trained to be poised, to be prim and proper. Yet, she was DIFFERENT. When she gave her answer and smiled, it seemed like time has stopped. I felt my cheeks burned and immediately bowed and walk away.

Mina's POV

They left after I gave my answer. Was I too rude? I am not very sure about the korean culture but I know that in Korea, they respect seniors alot. Did I go overboard? Just then, Ms Rinhi came and brought me to eat lunch. There were bout 25-30 trainees and ranged from as young as 11 to 22. Everyone's eyes were on me and I felt really out of place. Everyone of them were so pretty, handsome and looked very talented. No, they ARE very talented. Yet, I was so ugly. The tension was taking a toll on me and I really wanted to get out of there. When I took my food, Yuna and Fiona motioned me to sit with them. I smiled and walked towards them. Luckily, the others quicly lost interest in me and I heaved a sigh of relieve. 

After lunch, Yuna accompanied me to my first official lesson. Vocal class. I really love singing although I don't know if I can make the cut. I just hope I don't embarrass myself. I took a deep breath and went in. I saw a middle-aged lady and about 7-8 trainees in the room. I bowed and took a seat. Not far away, I saw the three boys that I talked with just now. I stood up and decided to apologise to them when suddenly, the teacher asked us to get into positions. She motioned me to go to the front of the class and do a brief introduction of myself.

"Hello everyone! I am Heo Mina from Singapore and I am 14 this year. Today is my first day. Please take care of me. Since I am not fluent with korean, I hope that you may forgive me for my mistakes! Thank You." I said with my limited amount of korean. Then, the teacher asked me to perform a song in front of everyone. I started to sweat buckets at the impromptu request. Then, I took up all my courage and took a deep breath and sang...
