An hour passes.
Jack turns his head and sees Sofia unconscious.
"Sofia?" Jack asked.
Sofia is still unconscious from the surgery. Amelia quietly knocked on the door.
"I was informed to give you this." Amelia said as she gives Jack a small black box with a note that says She said yes.
Jack has a huge smile on his face.
"Congrats. How is your head feeling?" Amelia said.
"It feels better. When is Sofia waking up?" Jack asked.
Jack looks and sees a fetal monitor.
"What?" Jack said.
"She's nine weeks pregnant." Amelia said.
Jack now has the biggest smile on his face.
"She should be waking up within the hour." Amelia said.
Amelia walks out and Jack puts the engagement ring on Sofia's finger.
"Yes. My answer is yes." Sofia asked as she wakes up.
Sofia feels her stomach.
"I'm pregnant?" Sofia said.
"Yes. Nine weeks." Jack said.
Sofia smiles. Jack picks up her hand showing her the engagement ring. Sofia starts crying.
"We are going to get through this." Jack said.
"Come here." Sofia said.
Jack lays next to Sofia. Sofia lays her head on Jack's shoulder.
"We're having a baby." Sofia whispered.
Jack kisses Sofia.
"Yes we are." Jack said.
Sofia starts crying.
"Baby Gibson is slowly growing." Jack said.
Sofia smiles as she thinks about her new life that's forming.
"Hey baby mama." Ryan said as he walks in.
"Doctor Sheperd told me both of us can get out of here tomorrow. But we have to take it easy." Jack said.
"Yeah Sofia." Ryan said.
"Yeah Sofia what?" Sofia said.
"Take it easy. When you were off work or off school you always had to do something. It won't be healthy for the baby." Ryan said.
Sofia scrunches her face up. Ryan gets a call and runs out. Dr Deluca walks in.
"I'm Doctor Carina Deluca, your OB/GYN. Lets check out this little baby of yours." Carina said.
Sofia and Jack look at eachother and smile. Jack gets off the bed.
"The gel will feel cold." Carina said.
Carina does the ultrasound.
"You have a healthy nine week old baby." Carina said.
"Can we have pictures?" Jack asked.
"Yes. How many pictures do you want?" Carina asked.
Sofia looks at Jack.
"Four. One for each of us, one for Ryan and one for the firehouse." Jack said.
Sofia smiles. Jack kisses Sofia.
