It has been a week since Sofia's first day. She's gotten closer to everyone. Especially Jack. Jack trusts Sofia. You can call her his person.
"I'm not going to be here next shift. I'm doing the charity marathon at Church Hill." Sofia said.
"I didn't know you like to run." Jack said.
"You learn new stuff everyday." Sofia said.
Jack shakes his head.
Station 19. Structure fire. Broadway Boulevard.
Everyone runs to the trucks and they get to the fire.
"Montgomery and Hughes stay at the aid car. Bishop, Tanner and Gibson search and rescue on the second floor. Herrera, Miller, and Warren search the first floor." Sullivan said.
"Masks on." Andy said.
Everyone puts the masks on and goes where Sullivan told them.
"Seattle fire department if anyone can hear us call out!" Everyone said as they walk through the place.
"Help." Boy said.
"I'm coming." Sofia said as she runs to the door.
Sofia uses the halligan to open the door.
"Fire department!" Sofia said as she walks through the apartment.
The boy runs to Sofia.
"It's ok. I've got you now." Sofia said.
Sofia starts to walk out with the boy but part of the ceiling falls and blocks the door.
"Damn it." Sofia said.
Sofia walks back into the room and goes towards the window. The boy starts coughing.
"Breathe into this." Sofia said as she puts her oxygen mask onto the boy's face.
The boy breathes into the mask.
"Cap this is Tanner. I have a kid with me and we're trapped on the second floor near the north west corner." Sofia said over the radio.
The smoke gets heavy and thick fast. Sofia breaks the window.
"Cap!" Sofia yells out the window.
Sofia starts coughing uncontrollably.
"Tanner." Sullivan said as he gets up to the window with the aerial latter.
"I'm ok." Sofia said with a raspy voice.
Sofia puts the boy on her and climbs down the latter.
"Go to Montgomery." Sullivan said.
Sofia walks over to Travis. Travis gives Sofia oxygen.
A day later
Sofia gets to Church Hill for the marathon.
"Hey do you know where registration is?" Sofia asked.
"Registrations is at the B wing." A doctor said.
"Thanks." Sofia said.
Sofia starts walking over to the B wing.
