The wind blew as Keisuke moved closer to the general, who took out his sword and stood firmly waiting, a few more steps. His sword resembled Jaw-Long’s but this one seem to be less taken care of and had long threads hanging from the handle. It also had symbols all over it and it looked like a double handed sword to which he held with one. French Frie was able to stand again and stood beside her master, who pat her head in relief, knowing that he wouldn’t have to fight alone after all. Keisuke walked to the side along with the lioness; the general did the same but in opposite direction. They walked slowly making a circle and then stopped. Keisuke turned to Jaw-Long and saw him still lying on the snow with blood around him. He had hit his head much harder than he thought and it had started to bleed.

“Your eyes on me, shinigami.”

Keisuke looked back at the demon standing before him and finally put the sword before him. He took a deep breath and stared at the enemy with raging eyes; he didn’t mean to be hasty, but he couldn’t wait to kill him. To make him pay for all he caused him. The nightmares, the pain, the people he hurt, it was all because of that one demon. If it wasn’t for Jaw-Long, he would have most definitely died in there.  He was the one who protected him, after all, now it was time to return the favor by getting rid of that man.

For a few seconds they did nothing but focus their eyes on each other. The lion growled and Keisuke ordered her to stay back. In those few seconds he decided that the fight would be his alone. The general finally held the sword with both hands; made the first move and quickly made his way towards the shinigami, drawing his sword violently, as Keisuke blocked it. Keisuke threw a counter attack to which the general blocked. After that blow Keisuke focused on defending instead of attacking, he was waiting for the right moment. He was unfortunately forced to back off a couple of steps and the general kept making his way toward him; this time warily. The man turned his wrist with the sword in his hand and then attacked again. He aim to stab the boy’s stomach; after Keisuke blocked the blow and move to the side, the general jumped up and attacked from above. Keisuke blocked the attack again and thought this would be a good chance to attack back; but the general gave him no chance to injure him and blocked the blow easily. Keisuke tried to attack once more but the general was ahead of him; he grabbed his arm after dodging the sword, turned in place and hit Keisuke in the stomach and then the face with his elbow. After getting hit, Keisuke was thrown back by the impulse and, letting out a sound of pain, he slid on the snow backwards, in a squatted position, regained his balance and made his way towards the enemy again. Keisuke attacked with the sword but the man didn’t even get a single scratch. After Keisuke drew again the man jumped on a rock; Keisuke followed and landed another failing hit. Jumped again to reach the high top of the rock, Keisuke then tried to land a hit on him, but the man turned in the air, blocked the sword when his head was down and then landed on his feet, making a cloud of snow that banished in seconds. The general was almost in the edge of the rock Keisuke tried to push him backwards using the sword, but the general jumped to the side to prevent that from happening. He slid in the snow with his body close to the ground, one leg stretched and the other one bent close to his body. The general tried to slash Keisuke’s feet, but the boy jumped and attacked from the air. After the man stood again they continuously attacked each other, and defended themselves from the opponent’s blows. Keisuke raised his sword above his head and planted a blow that the general blocked, but this time, Keisuke didn’t retreat his sword. Instead, he pushed down, as the general tried to hold his sword up, and glided his sword closer to the general’s handle. The general saw no choice but to let go and jump back. He jumped backwards landing on his hand and then pushing himself to land on his feet. He did so around two or three times to get a little distance between the two of them. They both stopped moving , but remained in defensive position, Keisuke with his legs opened and the sword before him grabbing it firmly with both hands, and the general with his legs opened and the sword on one hand in front of his face, to catch their breath. Keisuke’s arm began to hurt until he realized the man had managed to cut him. it wasn’t that deep, but it was a big scratch. The general had also taken some damage, but instead of the arm or the leg, he had a cut from the right cheek to the upper left corner of the forehead. He closed his left eye from the blood flowing down his face and spat out the amount that had gone in his mouth as he panted. The general wiped as much blood as he could and then looked at it. After looking at the blood on his hand he smiled at Keisuke with satisfaction.“Congratulations, little angel of death… no one has ever been able to make me bleed. Ever. “He said as he smiled, but Keisuke didn’t answer he was more worried about killing him than making a scratch on his face.  The wind blew and Keisuke closed his eyes for a second. The moment he closed them the man smiled at the great opportunity that was placed before him and charged. He attacked Keisuke from the left, making the boy loose his balance, but he was able to regain it. He turned as soon as he blocked the blow from the man and ran trying to get some distance, but the man followed closely. Keisuke suddenly stopped and turned around; the man lashed three times, missing, and then jumped and attacked from above. He, while in the air, slashed downwards and when the swords touched, the man used the impulse to kick Keisuke. They continued exchanging blows until Keisuke turned around and tried making some distance between them again, but the general caught up to him right away and attacked. He jumped on his hands and threw a kick at the boy, landed on his feet again and attack with his sword again. Keisuke then started to get offensive. He attacked again and again until the man got angry and annoyed and tried to stab him in the face. Keisuke dodged it, but didn’t have time to doge the attack that came after. After getting a second slashing, this time on the chest, Keisuke let out a sound of pain while putting his left hand on his chest. The general attacked again and again until Keisuke once more tired to get some distance, because if he didn’t he wouldn’t be able to burn him down.  The moment Keisuke turned around and charged at the general, after realizing he wouldn’t be able to get away from him, the man jumped over him to try and stab him, but Keisuke blocked it and the man ended up on the other side. They threw attacks on each other. After some hits they were pressing the swords against each other. The general was bigger in size making him stronger physically, he pushed Keisuke, who fought back as hard as he could, down easily. The man started to chuckle, thinking that it was the last moments for his victory. Keisuke never looked away from the man’s eyes and every second he stared in, made him more impatient about destroying him. The moment the general added his weight on the sword to push Keisuke down on the ground, Keisuke removed his sword and let the general’s impulse make him loose his balance. The boy used this chance to return the favor and elbowed him to later cut him once more with his sword. Keisuke tried to attack with his hands again but the general stopped him and kicked him in the stomach making him fall on his back and due to the ice on the surface of the rock and the snow, Keisuke fell off of the rock landing on his back. The book that Keisuke was always carrying around flew out of his pocket and landed next to Lucas the moment the general had kicked him. Lucas picked it up and opened in the last page. After reading the contents he trembled. “Lucas? What’s wrong” Asked Kat.
