Give and Take

You make it

Seem that all

I do to you

Is take and

Take and take

From you

And I never

Give you anything

In return

You make it seem

Like you give and give

And give till you have

Nothing left to give

In reality what you

Think is wrong and

It's backwards

I am the one that

Gives up everything

For you and everyone

I give you my time

I give you my attention

I give you my service

I basically give you my life

I have no freedom because of it

I never once

Asked for

Anything in return

In reality you do

Give me things

But I never once ask

For anything

I do everything

Because I want to

So I don't take

I only give
