Meant to be
Together from
The start
Drawn by
The past
of other lives
And ties of their soul
As years go
By their love
For one another
Starts to dissipate
Lovers from the
Past destroy
The love of the
Lovers now
The love they once
Shared starts wilting
As time goes by day by day
Nothing the
Lovers can do
Since they
Hide within
They want to
Be together
But things
Don't seem to
Be going right
The past is catching
Up with the present
Causing the love to
Wilt more every
Second of the day
The light of their
Hope to keep
Going is getting
Dim like the love
That they share
Will their wilting
Love destroy them?
Or will they
Overcome this
And will their
Love grow
Stronger than
Before ?
