Mitche's POV
I jumped out of my king sized bed when I heard it the loud bang that would change my life forever...
Earlier that day
"Mitchell Grassi get your little butt down here right now it's time for dinner" Mitches mom jokingly called up the stairs to her son she had always been a kind mother who gave her everything to her son as well as his father who was the only one in the house with a job however everything he could get went towards making Mitch happy
"Ok be right down" Mitch called
Mitches POV
I hoped out of bed setting my phone on the table not before saying bye to Kirstie my best friend it was to bad she just started going to another school I happily bounced out of my room excited for dinner my made spaghetti and meatballs my favorite I ran downstairs so fast I practically fell 😂 when I got to the dining room I was greeted by my dad who already had a plate in front of him I sat in my seat on the side of the table my parents took the heads just I sat my mom brought me my plate which of course I dove in right away just then my mom sat down and began to eat my dad following
"Mmmm this is delicious" I barely managed to get out through my mouthful of food
"I'm glad your enjoying it Mitch just don't talk with your mouth full anymore we've been through this" "oh ok sorry" I mumbled back before continuing after dinner I thanked my mom and cleared the plates before heading back to my room to call Kirstie when I called her though it went to her voicemail so I figured she was probably just busy so instead I played a game on my phone
1 1/2 hours later
"Mitch time for bed" I heard my mom yell up the stairs "ok" I called down before setting my phone down and getting changed into a loose T-shirt and my boxers I went downstairs to say goodnight to each of my parents and give them each a hug even though I was 16 years old I mean I still love em you know then I went and checked my phone one more time and when I saw nothing from Kirstie I just went to sleep
3 hours later
I jumped out of my king sized bed when I heard it the loud bang that would change my life forever I didn't know what it was so I panicked I ran out the door practically tumbling over my own feet and I saw it my mom motionless on the floor bleeding from her head and my dad trying to fight a man in all black with a gun "MITCHELL GO UPSTAIRS AND HIDE CALL 911" he screamed at me I ran as fast as I could grabbed my phone and his in my walk-in closet behind my pink Gucci coat I dialed 911 when I heard another bang and then footsteps coming toward my room
