"Stay?" Neveah softly spoke as she grabbed Jared's hand.
After her break down in the woods, Jared had brought her to his house. His mother was out for the day anyway, so he didn't have to explain to anyone why he had a crying girl with him. Jared was just glad he was the one that had found her in the woods, especially with the redheaded vampire on the lose. The Pack had been working overtime to find her and it was taking a toll on them all Nd it was easy to notice.
Jared smiled as he laid down next to her, "Of course. Are you sure you don't want to call your brother?"
"I probably should but I really don't want to talk to anyone right now." Neveah sighed as she snuggled closer to Jared.
Jared wrapped his arms around her, "That's okay. I'm here."

"I figured I'd find you here." Micheal spoke as he found his little sister lying on Jared's sofa. Micheal had called him, knowing Neveah would seek comfort with him as he was her imprint.
Neveah shrugged, "I guess you finally found me."
"I'm sorry," Micheal spoke before he sat down next to her. "I should have stood up for you more. I shouldn't have run away when I couldn't handle it anymore. It wasn't fair to you. You were in the accident, and I could have lost you too but instead I chose to push you away. I am so sorry. I am your big brother and I should have been there for you. Instead I was a coward and you suffered."
"It's fine." Neveah spoke in monotone.
Micheal scoffed in disbelief, "How can you say it's okay?"
"Because I've been alone for so long. I've always been there for you but when I needed you the most, you ran. I've felt so sad, hurt and unwanted for so long. You know, a few months after the accident, I tried to kill myself?" Neveah revealed, Micheal stared at his little sister in shock at her revelation before she continued, "I hit rock bottom. I wanted everything to stop. I didn't have anyone to talk to. Mum and dad already hated me, you were gone and Bella was too busy being sad over a guy leaving her. I hated looking at myself in the mirror because all I saw was Nigel. I hated that I survived and he didn't, and everyone in my life just emphasised that point." Both siblings had broken into sobs when Neveah had finished speaking. Neveah was just glad she could get everything off her chest, it was a burden she had carried far too long.
Micheal got up to kneel in front of her, "I am so sorry. You didn't deserve any of that and I failed you. I failed you. I'm your big brother and I wasn't there for you. I should have been there for you when you needed me, instead all I cared about was myself and my needs. I failed you. I'm so sorry."
"At least you were there for me when I needed someone to talk to. I'm not saying I forgive you but I want our relationship to get better. I love you but I need you too, especially with everything that's happening." Neveah sighed as she wiped her tears.
Micheal nodded, "Of course. I love you, little one."
