johnny's doing the surgery.. and it makes me happy that he was willing to.
“kenzie don't be scared.” johnny stroked my hair.
“i'm not! i know you can do it!”
“yeah? well i love you.”
“i love you too—wait why does it sound like you're saying goodbye?”
“well, we won't know if it will successful—”
i slapped his arm and playfully glared at him. “don't say that, idiot!” before laughing at him.
he laughed back at looked at me. “be my girlfriend?”
i held his hand tight and smiled, “ofcourse.” i leaned in to his face and kissed him.
it was just in time that i pulled away when his family and his doctor went in.
i stood up in respect and slightly bowed at them.
“it's time.” his mother smiled at me.
i look back at johnny who was already smiling at me.
now i feel scared.
“don't be scared, kenzie. you'll still see me come back to your arms.” he said, grabbing my hand.
i gave him a worried look..
“i promise.” he smiles again.
“how can you smile at this moment?”
he pulled me in and hugged me. he slightly whispers to my ear, “because i love you.”
when our hug was broken. i smiled back at him. “okay.. let's go!”
hopefully it goes well.
