Chapter 6: That sweet embrace

Matt’s POV

Almost 3 weeks na since she broke up with me. Ilang beses ako pumunta sa bahay nila pero yung mga bodyguard lang yung humaharap sa akin.

I also tried to get her contact number from our common friends but they won’t give in. Ayaw daw nilang makigulo, ayaw daw nilang magalit sa kanila si Sarah.

Parang mababaliw na ata ako...

At nitong isang araw nga pinuntahan ko talaga si Ms. Lala dun sa isang shoot niya with another artists.

Ayaw nitong magbigay ng info nung una pero naawa din ito nang halos maghapon na ay hindi pa rin ako umaalis. Hanggang sa nalaman kong she’s out of the country na pala. Nakabakasyon daw ito.

Hanggang doon lang ang nalaman ko. She didn’t tell me the place and she didn’t even tell me until when...

Every night I prayed for her, for us...

I always ask for forgiveness, a chance to have her again and promise not to repeat that same stupid mistake over again.

My mom is so concerned about me. I’m not taking care of myself daw lately. I’ve grown my hair so fast but I didn’t even visit the salon to groom myself. I already have some raw mustache and beard on my face.

My friends and I are into drinking lately. Or maybe they just want to be there for me while I’m slowly throwing my life away...

Marlon: Get up, Man! That’s not the Matteo we’ve known. You’re a trooper, you shouldn’t be like this.

Matt: Are you already sick of me, Bro?

Marlon: It’s not like that. Pick up yourself and start anew. She’s not the only girl in the world, Bro.

Matt: No, you don’t understand.

Rob: Here we go again...

Matt: You guys will only understand me once you’ll find your true love...

Rob: Fuck that! Where did that came from? That’s so cheesy, Bro!

Matt: I don’t want anybody else but her.

Rob: Pero ayaw na niya sa’yo! Isn’t that clear?!

 

Tiningnan ko lang siya nang masama at inihagis yung boteng hawak ko malapit dun sa brick oven. Nagtalsikan yung parte ng bote sa paligid.

Ivan: Woah... woah... woah! Stop that kundi lagot tayo sa Mommy mo. Ito namang si Rob, don’t rub the open wound with salt, okay?

Rob: Haha! Okay... Seriously Bro, Sarah still loves you. That’s for sure...

Ivan: Agree with that. She’s really hurt with what you did. Just give her time... Don’t push her to accept you at your will. Just wait until she’s ready, Bro.

You don’t have to do this to yourself; you look like a hermit already, haha!
