Chapter 4: Broken strings

Sarah’s POV

After 3 weeks...

Everytime he has the chance ay pupunta ito kung nasaan man ako. Nandiyang dadalaw ito sa bahay, pupunta sa movie or commercial shoot ko. Parang nanliligaw lang talaga ulit... Deep inside, gusto ko nang makipagbalikan pero andun rin yung part of me na gusto ko siyang turuan ng leksyon.

Sa tuwing tatawag nga ito, hahayaan ko lang na magring nang magring hanggang sa maka-5 ‘missed call’ siya, saka ko pa lamang sasagutin yung tawag niya. Pero wala akong masabi sa sobrang tiyaga nito, wala akong narinig, ni isang reklamo mula sa kanya.

Hanggang nitong isang beses nga na magkausap kami sa phone ay nadulas ako sa pagsagot sa kanya. Nasanay na nga kasi ako, 2 years din yun no?!

Matt: Sige na... Always take care, I love you.

Sarah: Okay, love you too.

 

Natutop ko ang bibig ko sa pagkabigla.

Matt: What did you said?

Sarah: Wala... sige na. Ba-bye---

Matt: Oops.. oops. I heard it clearly. So, tayo na uli?

Sarah: Ewan ko sa’yo... Wala nga ‘yun!

Matt: Thank you Love! Pramis, good boy na talaga ako.

Sarah: Siguraduhin mo lang!

After that, everything went on smoothly. We missed each other so much. Almost a month din yun break-up naming yun kaya halos hindi na kami maghiwalay sa tuwing nagkikita kami. Pinaniningkitan na nga kami ng mata ni Mommy paminsan.

But after a week, something weird is happening around me... It’s like everybody is hinding something from me.

Hanggang sa hindi ko na natiis, I asked my hair stylist B, what is the fuss all about.

He’s kinda hesitant at first but he still gave in. He shown me an entertainment blog site known for blind items.

Here it goes:

‘Monster Gamer’

He was viewed as ‘knight in a shining armor’ for rescuing a well-loved princess from the wicked witch.

Without the knowledge of everyone that once in a while in a moonlit sky, this knight transformed to a ‘frog prince’.

This frog prince is meeting another princess secretly in a place only riches could go.

It is said that the other princess could give what the well-loved princess couldn’t fulfill.

It seems that the wicked witch’ radar is not working this time...

 

 

It feels like something is hammering my chest while I’m reading the blind item.
