Lisa's pov

I told Stacey and Julie my plan and surprisingly they were on board. Now, we just have to work on the execution. The setting will be the woods surrounding the grounds of the NJC. Kids are never allowed off grounds without adult supervision or permission from their guardian. We were planning on obtaining neither of these during our afternoon free time.

Most afternoons between school dismissal and the beginning of dinner, kids would play outside. Even though we weren't in school full time yet, we usually were outside at this time as well. Typically, only a few guardians would be outside supervising. Most of the time they just ended up talking amongst themselves. If anything happened we were never more than a few minutes from the Center, an adult, or older kids. In other words, help was always within an arm's reach.

We knew we'd be able to go into the woods. What we weren't sure about, was how to get Carrie to come with us and how much time we'd have before someone ratted us out, the latter actually being our goal.

Stacey says, "We're not going to be able to TALK Carrie into leaving the grounds. We're going to have to MAKE her."

Julie states, "I'm pretty sure kidnapping is a felony."

Stacey replies to her cousin, "Don't be so dramatic. We're not going to tie her up and blindfold her or anything. We're not, right?"

The light bulb appearing over her head, Julie snaps, "Stacey, you're a genius."

"I know," Stacey says, "but wait. Why?"

Julie explains, "If Carrie can't SEE she's leaving the grounds..."

"She can't refuse to do it," I say, continuing Julie's train of thought. "Now, how do we get her blindfolded?" Hmmm. I think hard, trying to come up with an idea. "I've got it!! Blindfolded wagon train," I yell, a little too loudly.

Stacey shushed me, "Shhhh! You wanna us to get caught, Lisa?"

"Oops. Sorry, I just got excited for a minute."

Julie says, "Brilliant idea, Lisa."

Stacey agrees, "We've never played wagon train blindfolded before. This could be a new thing that catches on."

In case you're wondering, wagon train is when one or two kids sit in a red flyer type pull wagon, hanging on for dear life while being pulled at high speeds over hills and sticks or other obstacles by kids whose only goal is to get them to fall out of said wagon. Blindfolding the riders will up the thrill factor.

"Let's do it tomorrow," I say, excited to try out my evil plan. I do the evil plan laugh while pressing my fingertips together.

Stacey giggles and throws her pillow at me.
