The blind side of things

Its a story to be told so shut up and listen

When Clar came over we both went upstairs to change

"I'm sorry I was being a little rude " I said

"I'm sorry I didn't believe you your my best friend and I should have" she said

We then hugged each other quickly pulling apart

"That was um..." I said

"Awkward" she finished

"Yeah no one knows about that" I said walking into my closet

"Never" she added

"You can go change into your dress in the bathroom while I look for mine" I said walking into my closet

"Okay" was all she said walking away

When I finished finding my dress I walked into the bathroom seeing Clar putting on her makeup

Clar was wearing a slim red dress that fitted her tightly

I wore my white shirt that cover half my stomach and my short skirt

It wasn't to short it covered what was needed

Clar and I continued to put on makeup in silence till I finally spoke

"After you left Jay was over quickly" I said

"What'd he want?" she asked

"Shit" I said closing my eye

"What happened?" she asked

"I poked my eye with my liner pencil" I said trying to wash it out

"No I mean when Jay came over" she said

I looked at her with my good eye

"I'll just ask later" she said handing me a towel

"Sounds like a good idea" I said

After I finished washing out my eye I carefully finished my makeup and grabbed my purse

"How much is in there?" Clar asked

I opened up my purse seeing 5 one hundred dollar bills

"I think I'll make it with just this" I said smiling as we walked out the door

I looked across the street and no cars were in Jaces driveway

I haven't seen him in a while I wonder if everything's okay

Clar and I got into my car and drove down to our favorite bar

Drown it up

The same bouncer was there and let us both in

He also said the back half of the club was reserved so we couldn't go back there

I walked up to barstools as Clar followed and sat right next to me

I looked to the other half of the club seeing all guys

Must be a bachelors party

After just one Bloody Mary me and Clar went out to the dance floor

Tonight was a night when we we're free to do whatever

But with the look on Clar's face I think she had limitations

Soon all the guys from the reserved side of the club came over to dance

And my heart stopped beating when I saw Jace

"Carly?" he asked

I only stared at him

Because that's what I'm best at

"I think the last time I saw you was about a month ago at the hotel" he said scratching the back of his neck

I crossed my arms

"You know you never paid me for that" I said smiling

"Maybe if your not busy I'll give you double tonight" he said

My smile vanished

"I can't I'm sorry" I said walking back up to the bar

"Strawberry daiquiris and keep them coming" I said

"Why not your so good at it" he said

"Long story" I said gulping down my first one

"I have time" he said

So I explained it all to him drinking five more drinks in the process and when I was done I started laughing

"Um...I don't see how its funny but I understand what your saying" he said

"Hey can I ask you a question?" I asked him

"Sure what?" he asked

"Is it me or are you extremely hot right now?" I asked

He smiled

"I just I don't know man like your so....I don't know" I babbled

He grabbed me quickly and kissed me

As he pulled away I looked at him

"We can leave if you'd like" he said

"Sounds good to me" I said as we walked out

Me brain must have been on auto pilot because I completely forgot about Clar
