The blind side of things

And they died happily ever after

I looked out my window and grabbed a handful of the curtain

This didn't feel right

None of it

I looked across the street watching the moving truck pull up in driveway

New neighbors?

At 10 o'clock at night?

I watched carefully

A women came out from the house and hugged the driver of the moving truck when he got out of the truck

Then opened up the back of the  moving truck

A boy came out of the house next

I couldn't make out what he looked like but I was 94.8% sure it was a boy

Then I heard the doorbell that broke me out of my curiosity of the new people

I ran down the stairs

No one else was here at the time so I have no idea why I said "I'll get it"

I opened the door seeing Jay

"Hey " he said

I looked at him

"I wanted to talk to you" he said after awhile of silence

"What about" I asked quickly

"About science today" he said

"What about it" I asked

"I mean I'm cool with it its a whatever to me" I said closing the front door as I walked out of the house

"For some reason I don't believe you" he said

"Well I wonder what else you don't believe about me" I said turning back to the front door to open it

He closed it before I even put my foot to block the door to close

"Jay " I said

"Carly please I'm trying to apologize and your just pushing me away" he said leaning in

He kissed me

I closed my eyes

I let my lips take over instead of my voice

He put his arms around my waist

I fluttered my eyes open and saw the neighbor dude person across the street looking at us

I let go

Jay looked at me confused

"Across the street" I said clearing my voice

He looked and saw the guy person dude whoever he was watching us

He was leaning against the moving truck his arms crossed and a smile on his face

"Let's take this inside" said Jay

"No" I said

"No?" he asked

"That's all you ever want to do Jay just kiss" I said

"Not true" he said

"And get into my pants" I said rolling my eyes

"No Carly I like you for you not just because of that" he said
