I woke up to the sound of my phone continuously buzzing with text notifications
E: yeah so you'll get the drinks
A: okay
Me: what's going on
Chanel: oh great... Look who finally decided to join us 😒
Me: yeah... So would somebody please fill me in?
Brandon: ....
Me: 😕
Chanel: 😒
Me: okay seriously what's going on? Don't tell me you guys are mad at me ... Come on I was asleep, you can't blame me

Me: wth guys?
E: okay guys I can't keep doing this, we are wasting time
Me: thank you! Now what on Earth is going on
Jake: sorry what's happening? The idiot has my phone and I'm too lazy to scroll up and read
Me: say what?
Jake: Jake has my phone, what's going on
Christy: how the hell does Jake have your phone
Ky: why does he even have it
Jake: we kinda switched phones again and I only noticed right now and Jake has been gone for some time now
Me: so why didn't you just get it before he left?
Jake: I fell asleep 😅
Me: 😂 okay... So guys what's going on
Chanel: I'm coming over to explain everything, gimme a sec

I rolled my eyes at Jake's stupidity when Chanel came bursting through my door
"bitch, I'm home!!! " she said then jumped on me
"Chanel... (Gasp)... Get.... (Gasp)... Offff" I tried pushing her off me
She got off me "don't be so dramatic I'm not that heavy"
"you so are... And you have to stop cussing in my house mom will hear you one day" I argued back
"yeah yeah it's not like she's never heard me, we are besties " she waved a hand to dismiss my assumptions
"yeah I know we're besties but--" she cut me off
"I mean your mom and I are besties" she smirked at me when I narrowed my eyes at her
"just fill me in" I decided the topic wasn't going anywhere
"oh yeah... So Em has assigned everyone to do something specific for the bonfire tonight "
"okay and? " I said while wiping my cracked phone screen
"so... Em's bringing chocolate and marshmallows, Tina and Bran are bringing blankets, Jake and Aiden are bringing food and drinks, Justine and Conner are bringing tents then the rest of us can bring anything else that's necessary " she said then laid back and turned to watch some show I didn't pay attention to
I hummed then started scrolling through my newsfeed when she broke the silence "are we going together or..." she looked at me from the corner of her eyes
I shook my head without sparing her a glance "mom will drop me"
She stood and stretched "oh okay then... I-i have to go get ready then" I could hear the hurt in her voice but I didn't say anything
"okay" I responded when she reached the glass door
"you're not coming are you? " she said with a sad smile
"no... I don't think so" I sighed
"come on Ashley...last semester you barely went to any parties don't tell me you want to do the same now. Half our group will be graduating soon and leaving for different universities or countries this is the only time we have left and it's honestly not much" she rubbed her forehead in stress"just think about it... Okay? " she smiled then left
