Chapter 4

"Oh thank god!" the mother sighed relieved her eyes widening when she saw her child in my arms reaching out to her and rushed over to me. I smiled handing her over to the woman; looking down at my shirt and fixing it, wincing when I moved it the wrong way. It took me until now to realize it but I was wearing a new shirt, that was completely black and a pair of cut off jeans my bare feet, half painted toenails showing. I couldn't help but wonder who had changed me but I quickly disregarded the thought.

swiftly I brought my gaze back up to the woman who looked to be twenty six and gave her a friendly smile. Her hair flowed down to her shoulders slightly wavy, a little less than her daughters and was a light blonde. Above her eyes were two perfectly plucked skinny eyebrows, and the bright blue eyes that lay below them were surrounded by short eyelashes. Her nose was small and at the perfect height for her face, far enough from the eyes, also the lips. She had perfect plump lips, that were painted a red of which I did not know was from blood- or lipstick. Her skinny size 1 body wore a tight blue dress that flowed down to her feet and had a good amount of cleavage. The woman finished off her outfit with a necklace that had a giant blue gem in the middle, and two sparkling blue earrings; Which I expect was a whole set.

I couldn't believe how beautiful this woman was, she looked like a model and I wasn't even exaggerating. She probably has people left and right asking her to model for them; I mean who wouldn't ask her she's stunning!

Now that I think about it... a lot of people around here are beautiful...

"Thank you" she gushed bringing me back from my daze; I shook my head clearing it and gave her an easy smile. The daughter began to tug on the mother's curls a smile on her face, with her two tiny fangs poking out and I couldn't help but give a small laugh before speaking to the woman.

"You're welcome" I replied before glancing down at the little girl who's gaze was now fixed on me since I started speaking and I gave her a sweet smile making her giggle. Ellie hid her face in her mother's chest making her mother roll her eyes before kissing the top of her head and giving me a full fang smile. "So you're her mother?" I asked partially confused staring down at the little girl and the woman smiled obviously understanding my confusion.

"Ellie go play with the other kids" the woman smiled placing her daughter on the ground that quickly obliged, her feet skittering across the floor as she ran in a random direction. She sighed running her fingers through her hair, a very human like manner and spoke

"Ellie is not really my daughter, but I have always thought of her as such" she explained and I nodded waiting for her to continue. "I actually found Ellie in a dumpster, she was about three I would say and had little blonde curls sticking up everywhere!" she laughed at the memory making me smile a little bit and continued again. "I brought her home, and searched for a way to make her a vampire... and well now you see little Ellie" she sighed placing her hand -where her heart should have been.

"That's beautiful" I told her with a small smile and she smile back her fangs glistening. She brushed her hair behind her shoulder before grabbing a cup off the table and taking a large sip.

"So what's your name darling?" she asked raising her perfect eyebrow, her blue eyes sparkling when the light hit them and honestly if I didn't know any better I would say she was a statue, I mean she looked like one. The only thing that was giving her away was that she had her chest rising and falling like any normal human- except she wasn't one.
