Wow. This place is kind of... cheeky.

It’s full of kids, grown dudes and lots of different... smells.

Well, you know that awkward moment when you just got a certain place and you just think, ‘Oh, okay, I’ll stand here like an idiot and watch,’ and you walk to a chair to sit on it.

I thought no one was ahead of me.

But this kid is running to me and started to tug on my pant leg.

“Wwhoketshiip!” he shouted out, and I just didn’t know what to do.

This is the first time of my life to do something stupid and say,

“Wha – ? What?”

Well, I was lying. I was known for being stupid. Okay, fine. Sue me.

The old ladies were looking at me like I’m killing him or something. I feel the heat rising up my face.

“He means ‘rocket ship’ young man,” a blonde told me with a smile. “Idiot,” I hear her murmur.

Wow. People here are so considerate and kind.

Rocket ship, rocket ship, rocket ship...

Oh... yeah.

I lifted him up and down, like my sister used to do when I was little.

“Bzhhhhhh, bzhhhhhh... Boom!” I say as I did my thing, looking like a total idiot. Underline idiot.

I let him down and started to ruffle his hair, you know, because that’s what people do to lessen all awkwardness.

But he has... no hair at all.

So I just pat his head, but it was still awkward. The little dude smiled at me anyway so think I did a good job.

“See you met Alex,” a voice came up to me. I jumped up in surprise, of course. I’m not an idiot.

“A – a – Alex? Oh, the rocket dude?”

And she laughed. Then frowned.

“No. And we’re going. I guess its way past your bedtime?”

“I don’t have a bedtime, missy.” I smirk.

“Well, your sister called me to tell you to come home. It’s almost seven.”

Wow, thanks for worrying now, dear sister who never cared about me before. In my whole life.

“Well, that was embarrassing,”

“Wait, did I say that out loud?”

“Yes, yes you did. Now scoot.”

Leaving the place there’s one thing I would say.

Whoa.
