Zelda looked up in the mirror. Once again, she was preparing for a grand event. Her hair was now very similar to how she normally wore it, except down in the back.  Her gown was based off her princess attire, but more mature looking. She looked it over it, not sure what she thought, not that it mattered. She didn't choose this dress, unlike her wedding and reception dresses.

She didn't mind though. It was only one night.

Sarth came by shortly later,

"Majesty? Are you prepared for the coronation? " He asked though the door. She called back a yes before turning towards him. He came in and smiled at her,

"You look extraordinarily beautiful, Majesty, " he complimented her, bowing. She looked down at the dress, not fully convinced,

"Oh, thank you Sarth, "she answered anyway, walking over to him. He held the door open for her and she exited to room.

They made their way down to the Grand hall. She heard the familiar chatter of many people on the other side. She clasped her hands together in front of her.

Link never showed up, as she halfway expected, and before she knew it, two guards came around and stepped forward, both of them putting a hand on one of the doorknobs. They then looked at her. She took a deep breath and and nodded,

"Introducing, The Princess Zelda of Hyrule, " Simeone called from the room. They opened the doors immediately, and a horn sounded. She walked into the Grand hall, walking towards the man in the center of the stage, in front of two thrones.

The ceremony wasn't too long. She simply took the saber and small orb and spoke vows to Hyrule. It was only a short time before she turned towards the man and closed her eyes. She felt the tiara being placed on her head. She then opened her eyes and turned back to the crowd,

"Introducing, the High Queen Zelda of Hyrule, " The man called out, and Zelda sat in one of the thrones. Applause broke out, and she smiled. She was really finally Queen.

After a moment, the man turned towards the opposite side of the stage from where Zelda had entered,

"Introducing Sir Link of Hyrule, Honorary hero, "He called out, and the other set of doors opened. Link strode out, dressed in formal prince wear. He looked uncomfortable, but he was hiding it well.

She couldn't help but smile when the King's crown was placed on his head. She really was getting everything she wanted,

"Introducing High King Link of Hyrule, " the man called, and Link sat in the other throne. Applause once again rang out, and Link looked over to her, smiling smally. He winked at her before looking ahead again.

Zelda had more fun than she thought she would. She danced with Link throughout the night, and was told kind words by many people.

"Tell me this is the last event we'll be made to attend for awhile, " Link whispered in her ear awhile later. She chuckled,

"Yes, you'll get a break for a time, "she replied. Link pulled back and smirked at her,

"I know what I want to do with the free time, " Zelda blushed and Link laughed, kissing her cheek,

"Your adorable, Zel," He said before spinning her.

Everything was great. That is, before guards crashed through the doors suddenly, terror written on their faces,

"Your Majesties! We're under attack!"
