There are cheaters

there are liars

and then there is

you

You, who draws me close

with bright blue eyes

that burn me

and freeze me in my tracks

You, who holds someone

taking their soul in the process

and keeps drawing them back

to feed on all their love

You, who watches amused

as you play them like puppets

so easily in power

yet never losing control

You, who is a demon

sent from heaven

to save us

or destroy us?

You, who plays us like a violin

the sweet sound

is the tears of us all

whose hearts you break

You, who only allows them to love you

and then kindly tells them no

You, who said:

"It's all for you

my love

my only love"

There are best friends

there are relationships

then there is

you

You, whose is perfect

who pulls me in so close

You, you who is afraid to let go

afraid I won't stay

as soon as you let go

should I slip away?
