Innocence

To me, it's easy to say

I love you

but I've always wondered

Is that true?

The way that you speak

the way you stare off into space

the way you act so cute

just how I can get lost in your face

I tell my heart to slow, slow down

you turned my whole world around

you bat your eyes just a little bit

as if under your spell, I fall for it

When you laugh I can't help but smile

don't tease with acting cute this way

my heart feels like it'll explode

I know, I know it's natural, you say

Aren't these all the symptoms of love?

I sit and pout, I'm so unsure

You're smile, why are you doing this?

You're just too precious, too pure

The innocence of true love

my habit of biting my lip comes out

Every time they say, teasing, I'm in love

I deny it all and pout

Even if I can't call it love

even if I don't really know you

I'm caught up in you're cuteness already

I guess now there's nothing I can do

Your large brown eyes shine

Your cute and sometimes girlish way

Your voice and laugh that echos in my head

Your dorky way, everything's okay

I understand why you do as you do

we are a bit alike, the same personality

and it's nice, almost unreal

could we be together, promise only stay by me

Although you occupy my thoughts

although you own my heart, a little bit too

although I find this a problem, it's okay

I still don't know if I love you
