This year the first ever Wattpad Prize was held and as usual, Wattpadders took this writing competition with much enthusiasm; over more than 3500 original stories were submitted in the original fiction and the original non-fiction genres. Amazeballs, now that’s a pretty big number! In an article by the Wattpad community, they thank all the people on this ever-so-growing site for taking part: “We are overjoyed with the number of quality works entered, and we would like to thank everyone who participated.” Yes! We are equally thankful to you for creating the orangey world of Wattpad. Accordingly, the results of the competition were announced later this month, in July and we couldn’t be more delighted with the outcomes.
