Chapter 7

I was still shocked that I actually went on a date. Without me having to ask anyone out first or talk first. It was actually someone who I liked too... Well was it a date? Does James like me? He kissed me on the cheek... But maybe that was just a friendly kiss. What if I was over exaggerating. What if he didn't like me in any other way apart from

friends? I was just so confused and was over thinking and questioning myself. Then I was questioning my existence. Was I in love with James? I didn't even know how I felt... I was just so confused. All I wanted was for him to call me and to tell me if he loved me or not but I knew that was me fantasising. I was just laying on my bed facing the ceiling, doubting myself as usual. I wanted talk to James. I wanted to tell him that I wanted to go out with him again. I wanted to ask him if he liked me. My deep thoughts were hurting me and messing with my brain. I wanted it to be over. I didn't want to deal with all these stupid emotions. I just wanted to get a blade and cut myself in half. I didn't

know what love was and it stressed me out big time.

It was my first time going to work for my new job I was a bit nervous but I knew Steph

would be there to help.

As I came in the store a tall blonde girl greeted me with a warm smile, she then said hi to Steph as they already knew each other, then told me and showed me how it worked

around here and a bunch a stuff like that, concerning store, the staff and the kind of costumers they usually get.

I actually kind of enjoyed this job, the people that work here were so nice especially the tall blond that greeted me earlier which her name was Laurie and her best friend Mia,

Steph and I got along so well with them. Even the costumers were really nice which

made it way easier for me to talk to them.

At the end of are shift Laurie and Mia invited us to hang out with them and walk around

Melbourne , we thought I would be good as it seemed that we didn't know much people

here, so they showed us a couple of great places to eat some places to shop and just other beautiful places around Melbourne. I it was starting to get a little dark so we

decided to all head back to Steph and I's place.

"Are you guys up for a movie?" Steph asked us. We all just nodded in response

"Ok, what do you want to watch?"

"Eurm, how about 'The vow', if you guys have it?" Lorie asked us

"Oh my god, we love that movie!" Steph and I said at the same time.

"Ok, it's settled we're watching 'The Vow' "

"Hey, I'll order pizza is that alright for you guys" I yelled across the kitchen where are home phone is.

"Yeah" they all replied in sync.

When the movie ended we all looked at each other still with a couple of tears filling are eyes and we started chuckling at how much of a mess we all looked like. We all went and change in to are pyjamas as we were all still in are work clothes. We stayed up pretty

late, talking about girl stuff and the kind of boys were in Melbourne which by the way

Mia told us they seemed pretty hot.Steph and Laurie dozed off around 2am as Mia and I stayed a bit longer talking about weird and random things.I was pretty surprised at how much I got close with Laurie and Mia as it was the first time I met them and they are already sleeping at are place.
