Go, fight, win!
They said, encouraging
But I didn't buy it
My heart's gone weak.
Take this pain away!
'Twas my cry each day.
Eyes were swollen
I was broken.
Don't smile at me!
'Twas my angry plea.
I was suffering.
Joy had left me.
I had nothing to offer
But all the broken pieces
Of a heart void of love
And a life with no sense.
Yet You took my hand
And my stone heart
Embraced me with Love
Gave me a new life.
With hope of eternity
My heart beats happily
Ready to share Your love
To another in need of it.
With joy coming from Thee
My lips had found it sweet
To smile instead of frowning
And live to be a blessing.
I was near to a frantic stop
Of believing the power of LOVE
But it penetrated my heart
Right when I received Your Son.
