CHAPTER 41

Would She Dare to Hit Me?

Jing Yan’s face went a bit pale; she acted like she was fragile and bowed towards Yun momosaying: “YanEr knows wrong; today YanEr feels a little unwell.”

“If you’re unwell then you shouldn’t have come, I’m not here to see you looking like this.” Yun momo’s face turned somewhat cold, she wasn’t moved in the least because of what Jing Yan had said. With an indifferent wave of her hand, the two momo who had been watching at her side stepped forward, they wanted to hold Jing Yan up and carry her out of the school.

“Yun momo please forgive, YanEr still can stand.” Jing Yan was suddenly frightened when she saw the two momo’s action; she straightened her body at once to show that she was all right. If she was really carried out of the school in the middle of the lesson, it would really bring humiliation upon her family’s face.

Yun momo indifferently threw a glance at Jing Yan and waved her hand as a hint for her to continue. This standing lesson lasted the whole morning; everyone stood until they shook and swayed. Only Jing Yue and ShangGuan LingLan these two persons had no difference at all. Yun momo was looking at Jing Yue in an absolute amazement.

Yun momo waved her hand as a hint for everyone to rest before she leaned her head to look at Jing Yue and asked: “You must be Jing Yue right?”

“I am.” Jing Yue blinked and nodded.

“Not bad, a piece of fine jade.” Yun momopraised Jing Yue once again before she stood up and left, leaving the bewildered-faced Jing Yue behind.

ShangGuan LingLan’s forehead was covered with faint beads of sweats. With eyes that were filled with admiration, she pulled Jing Yue’s hand and asked: “Jing Yue, you’re too awesome! How did you do that?”

Jing Yue raised her eyebrows as she stared at ShangGuan LingLan and said: “You’re also good.”

“I grew up in the barrack, standing like this is naturally nothing.” ShangGuan LingLan pulled Jing Yue to the side to sit on stone chairs before she happily said: “Didn’t you see Jing Yan’s face a moment ago? Ink was practically about to drip out of her face! You robbed all of her original spotlights.”

“So?” Jing Yue proudly raised her chin and said: “Would she dare to hit me?”

“Haha…… I really like this temper of yours.” ShangGuan LingLan laughed out loud seeing Jing Yue’s demeanor.

“That…… Are you Ninth Huang Fei?” Just as Jing Yue and ShangGuan LingLan were chatting enthusiastically, another voice came in; Jing Yue turned her head to look and saw a girl in light green dress nervously staring at her.

“Yes, you are?” Jing Yue blinked her eyes and found that she had absolutely no memories of this pretty, charming little girl in front of her.

“My name is Ning XiangYuan. I’ve heard about you before, today finally able meet, you’re indeed just like the rumors have said! Really admirable!” Ning XiangYuan seemed very full with adoration as she stared at Jing Yue with an excited expression. Jing Yue was dumbfounded for a moment before she promptly waved her hand and said: “They’re nothing but rumors.”

“That……” Ning XiangYuan hesitated for a moment before she bent her body to stare at Jing Yue and said: “You’ve just offended Jing Yan, she will definitely give you stumbling blocks in secret; you have to be careful.”

Ning XiangYuan’s words had just landed when a sharp voice came through. A girl in purple royal dress came leading a group of people towards them; she raised her chin to look at Jing Yue and said: “Yo, isn’t this the future Ninth Huang Fei? Why didn’t you say hello to everyone ah?”

“It’s Princess* ZiLing, she is the daughter of the eldest princess. Usually she is close to Jing Yan.” ShangGuan LingLan uttered those sentences in Jing Yue’s ear in a lightning speed.

Jing Yue’s eyebrows were bent as she smiled; she slightly bowed her body towards ZiLing in a very courteous manner and spoke: “Turns out it’s the famous Princess ZiLing, I’ve heard Ninth Huang Shu mentioned you before. He said you are gentle, magnanimous and kind.”

“Re…… really?” ZiLing was somewhat startled. A feeling of pleasant surprise flashed across her eyes, probably because she didn’t expect that Xiao Chen would actually mention herself.
