After talking to the crowd for a further ten minutes I returned inside. I couldn't believe I had done what I just did. I had regained the trust of the whole Kingdom through love and honesty. It took a few more moments for Fortis return from the crowds but when he did he ran arms open at me.
"I am so proud of you!" He mumbled.
After spending some time alone together we headed downstairs and into the study.
I nominated Fortis to be my assistant, we were a team and we were madly in love.
After some discussion about how we were going to face the incoming attack I decided that I would have a rummage around the office (which was now mine) to see if Lea had done any previous planning.
I looked through various different draws and cupboards until eventually I found some planning. It was a booklet on what to do if ever under attack. I flicked through the pages and unfortunately found nothing of use. I turned to Fortis and said,
"We're going to do this and we are going to win. No matter what happens promise me we will always be together."
"I promise."
