Chapter Twenty-Four

Part Two

(With Spotlight and Deja)

Spotlight: Alrighty, which bacon do you want? *holds up one pack* Thick-sliced? *holds up another* Or sugar-cured?

Deja: I like thick-sliced.

Spotlight: Sugar-cured it is then.

Deja: *laughs* Stop playing Levell.

Spotlight: You want thick bacon?

Deja: Yes!

Spotlight: Okay follow me.

He takes her to the women's restroom in one of the stalls, closed and locked it.

Spotlight: Kiss me, if you ain't scared.

Deja: You backed out last time.

Spotlight: You want to or not?

Without giving her a chance to respond he grips her thighs, wraps her legs around him, and pushes and lifts her against the stall door.

Deja: Do it nigga.

He starts kissing her lips and sucking on her tongue. Deja returns all his actions and breaks the kiss shortly.

Deja: About time.

Spotlight: I know. I've waited awhile for that. Now let's go get that thick-cut bacon.

They walk out hand in hand and smiling big like two lovebirds.

(With Sasha and Legacy)

They are holding hands and getting to know each other more.

Legacy: Do you like to cook?

Sasha: Not really, but I'm good at it. What about you?

Legacy: Cooking ain't my thing.

Sasha: What are your favorite colors?

Legacy: I like black and blue.

Sasha: They alright. I prefer orange and red. Reminds me of fire.

Legacy: That's cool. But I gotta know one thing.

Sasha: What is it?

Legacy: When you're laying down with Tool cuddling and stuff, do you ever think about me?

Sasha: When I kiss him, I imagine kissing you. When me and him are laying down, I wanna lay with you sometimes. That answer your question?

Legacy: Yeah.

Sasha: What about you though?

Legacy: I always think about you Sasha.

Sasha: *laughs and shakes her head* This is one of those things that is so entirely wrong but feels as good as living.

Legacy: ...Do you think it could be love?

Sasha: Maybe. I hope so.

Legacy: If it's meant to be, it will be Sasha.

Sasha: I know Dominic.

He puts his hands right below her back and kisses her gently.

Legacy: It's love alright.

(Back with Julian and Kaylin)

Julian: Just forget it then. Maybe Jarok can take you to lunch.

He lets go of her hand and grabs a carton of eggs.

Kaylin: Jules hold on!

Julian: What??!

Kaylin: I want to so bad! But it's just you have to talk to my dad.

Julian: That's it?? That will be easy, Frank is cool peoples.

Kaylin: As your driver maybe. Not as a dad.

Julian grabs both of her hands gently and looks her in the face.

Julian: As long as I can get some alone time with you, I will do whatever.

Kaylin: Okay. And when we get alone time, don't mention my ex please.

Julian: Anything.

Kaylin: Thanks Jules.

All the couples check out the items, get back to the bus, and still nobody else is up.

Sasha: Let's get to cooking guys.

Julian: How about the girls cook and the guys watch?

Deja: How about this foot up yo ass??

Julian: What I meant was we all contribute to making a wonderful meal.

Kaylin: Great cover up, Jules.

Legacy: Who cooks what?

Deja: How about if you got it, you cook it. Me and Spotlight cook bacon, you and Sasha cook pancakes, get it?

Sasha: Can we play some music?

Others: Why not?

Sasha gets out her phone, plugs it into a speaker, and blasts the I Am Alix Lapri EP.

Kaylin: Alix can sing her pretty ass off!

Sasha: You know her?

Kaylin: Not like that, she went to a school by mines.

Sasha: Oh.

The couples start cooking the food and when they are done wake up everybody else.

Monnique: When y'all cook??

Spotlight: After we came back from the store.

Gennis: Y'all went to the store?? (What he really means by y'all is Deja and Spotlight lol)

Deja: Yeah we had no food to cook with.

Ben J: Enough with the chit-chat, let's just eat.

Everyone fixes a plate and sit in the front living room how they were last night.

Tool: Babe, these pancakes are good.

Sasha: Thanks, me and Legacy fixed them.

Dani: Dominic you cook??

Legacy: Occasionally.

There was a bit of an awkward silence as the rest of the food was eaten but all the couples that went to the store were staring at each other and having conversations with the eyes.

I'm sorry it was kinda long lol I was just kinda trying to stretch out my thoughts a bit.

Will Frank let Julian take his daughter out?

Was it right for Spotlight and Deja to kiss??
