Chapter Four
Frank dropped the kids off at the hospital entrance where they saw Langston, Lex, Dani, Gennis, and Spotlight crying.
Julian: Guys, cheer up.
Keke: We just gotta hope for the best.
But it's when Langston lifted up his head when they all knew something really bad happened.
Langston: D-do you guys w-w-want the good news or the b-bad news?? *starts back crying*
Day Day: What happened??
Spotlight: (has red eyes from crying) Well the good news is that Deja is going through surgery right now and is going to be back to normal.
Tool: What's the bad news?
Lex has another breakdown and they become really alarmed.
Day Day goes and holds her.
Sasha: This bad news must be serious. Imma sit down. *sits in an available seat*
Legacy: Is it Monnique?
Dani: (soft voice) She didn't make it.
Ben J: What was that?
Dani: (louder) She didn't make it.
The others go into shock and shed tears right there in the lobby.
Langston: *chuckles* It's all a dream. My baby, the love of my life, is alive.
He stands up and goes up to the receptionist.
Langston: Yes, can I have the room number of Monnique Kelly please?
Receptionist: *types something into her computer* Sorry sir. It says here that she's in the Coroner's Room.
Langston: Why would she be there?? She's alive.
Receptionist: That's not what the records are showing.
Day Day, Julian, and Spotlight go up to the desk to get their friend.
Julian: Dude, just take a seat.
Spotlight: You're just in denial.
Langston: No! The records are in denial!! I WANNA SEE MY GIRLFRIEND!!
Receptionist: Security!
Langston: Why you calling security?? Just tell me what room Monnique is in!!!
Security has to come and personally escort him out.
The whole scene just makes everyone sadder over their loss.
What'd ya think???
I feel so bad for Langston right now.
And is there a tiny bit chance that Monnique could be living still?? Ehh who knows??
