Stuck In The Middle (Finished)

Chapter 4

Again, sorry for not updating. But hey look at that, two chapters in one day. Very slow updates. I know that this sucks but at least I get to publish a chapter. Here you go!

Dream POV
(Ha! You didn't expect that, don't cha?)

Ink opened a portal to the original Dreamtale. She said that we will save her friend from my brother -A.K.A Nightmare-. I believe her friend's name us Cross? I don't know. I never met her but Ink said that this 'Cross' knows me. Me and Blueberry decided to help her cause we are her friends. We stepped in the portal. I frowned at the sight in front of me. The Dreamtale I knew is a clean happy place. Unfortunately, this Dreamtale is covered in ashes. No living things around. I sighed remembering the old happy times, when me and Nightmare are still young.

"Don't get too sad, Dream. We fight Nightmare's gang even if you don't want to but he is evil now." Ink said in a sympathetic tone.

"Yeah, cheer up! The magnificent Blue will make you tacos later when, we get home." Blueberry said while giving me a hug. I hugged back and pulled away few minutes later. "Heh. Thanks Blue. I needed that." I said happily. She giggled. I just remembered the old tree that me and Nightmare supposed to protect it. I wonder what it looks like now. I sprint off to the distance, ignoring Ink and Blue's calls. I then teleported.

Cross POV

I ran as fast as I can to prevent Nightmare from killing me. I saw a dead tree on the middle of nowhere. I his behind it, catching my breath. I sat and leaned against the poor dead tree. I chuckled at the thought of Nightmare's different form. He is smaller than the aggressive form, but still taller than me. He is still a hot headed, seductive, jerk.

'Seductive!?' Chara burst out laughing. I groaned in response. "Just shut up Chara!" I whisper yelled. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. 'Okay miss poopy head!' He said in a bored tone. I giggled at him as his eye twitched. I stuck out my tounge.

"Umm..... Hello?" A smooth manly tone spoke.

I froze. Uh-oh.... Who is this now. I heard footspeps getting louder every time it steps. I summoned my large knife preparing for defense. I sighed deeply. Well too bad for him. I inhaled deeply.

"Hey beauty!"

I squeaked in surprise and dropped my giant knife. It made a thud sound.
I felt my soul beat fast. "Woah! Careful with the knife there!" I just froze in place. Who the fuck is this guy?!?

The guy towered me. He offered his hand to me. I grabbed it and he helped me stand up. I stumbled a bit because of my stupid shaky legs. I landed on his chest. He is tall as Nightmare's smaller form. Wait, isn't this guy Nightmare? I looked up at him. He is handsome as fuck! I blushed. He looks like the guy in the picture Ink showed me. I jumped back. "I um... Sorry for scaring you." He said in an apologetic tone. "Oh! Don't be sorry. But who are you?!" I said getting angry. I crossed my arms.

"Oh, how stupid of me!" He said face palming. "Forgive me. I am Dream!"
He said. Wait...WHAT?!?! My mouth opened. He looked at me with his star eyes. "Is something wrong!" I shocked my head. "By the way, what is your name?" He said with excitement.

"O-oh m-my name is-"

"DREAM!???! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY TERRITORY?!??" Yelled an dark angry chilling voice.
