there was a conversation passed between two souls

at a coffee shop near by called

morning coffee

it's a lovely shop

i brought a book called Peter Pan by j.m barrie

and ten dollars for overpriced coffee

i decided to sit in the back

in a booth by myself

but then a familiar face joined me

"elizabeth..."

i nodded still reading my book

i couldn't bare to see his

beautiful face

"why haven't you called? when did you get back"

he was freaking out

"i called you a million times and it never went through. i can't believe you haven't called."

"oh sorry"

"sorry? that's all. you left and then you come back and don't tell me?"

i looked up for a second

i looked at his hands

holding two cups

"who's coffee are you holding?"

"no ones. stop changing the subject. tell me why you did call!"

he dropped his coffees on the floor

it went all over

i felt bad for the person that would have to mop it up

i always knew william had a temper

"oh babe. what happened?"

a new person joined us

"who's the slut?"

I said

"who's the loner?"

wow such a good comeback

not

"elizabeth this is emily."

william said moving away from the coffees

"Lovely to meet you Emily."

"so boyfriend wanna go back to your house?"

she winked at him

and said the word boyfriend so everyone could hear

"that's funny because me and william are dating"

"i don't think so, right william?"

she laughed

"well it's not that easy to explain, I thought elizabeth was gone for-"

i spilled my coffee on him

and threw my book at him

i wish i didn't throw the book at him

because afterwards i went to target and got a new one

maybe william wasn't the only one with a temper
