You're insecure sometimes.
You forget yourself,
You're constantly putting yourself down,
You're fighting your battles on your own
You're hiding in a shell,
Suffering on your own.
Oh Darling it hurts me,
It hurts me to the extent that I experience death while being quite alive.
And if I could only show you how lovely you are...
If I could only give you these shattered pieces of my soul..
If I could only let you experience the emotions I have for you..
I am quite certain that You, Yourself will fall in love with all the things you already are.
Knowing that I'm not there,
And maybe I'll never be there to give you everything you need...
I hope she's giving you the hope you have always sought.
I hope she's giving you all the affection you have always needed.
The affection I constantly failed to gift you with.
