Six Weeks Later

"Take the baby ." Brielle said
"I don't wanna move, all my stuff is here ." Ava said
"Your stuff to moving into a new house baby ." I said
"What's going to be in it ?"
"It's going to be real nice, it's going to have everything you want ."
"Come on daddy ."
"I have to watch the movers and make sure they don't break nothing ."
I held my son in the sweltering heat, fed him his bottle as I watched the activities unfold in front of me . I'm enjoying as much time with CJ as I can since this is going to be my last baby from Brielle . I can't get enough of him, every time he cries I'm there to give him whatever he wants . I want to keep him small forever . After it was done, I took the kids out for ice cream . Dropped them off at the new house .
"So this is it ?" I said
"This is it ." she repeated
"Daddy, where you going ?" Mijo asked
"I'll be back man, don't worry come here . All of you come here ."
I crouched down to there level "Daddy love y'all very much, he wants nothing but the best for you . Sometimes the best things are things you have to let go of - ."
Mijo cut me off "So you're not coming back ."
"Mijo things are to be slightly different . But changes are good, we have to go through some changes once in a while ."
"I don't want you to go ." They hugged me except Mijo
"I'm coming back ."
"No you're not, all your stuff is at the old house mommy stuff is here !" He ran
"Mijo, I'm - ."
"I'll get him ." Brielle said
"I gotta go, y'all be good for mommy okay . I don't wanna hear nothing, don't make me come back with a belt ."
I left and went back to the old house, I walked through the empty too rooms . Thinking that if these walls could speak, it would have a lot of shit of things to say . A lot of things happen in this house, good things bad things . All my kids came home to this house, all my kids started off growing up here . Now I have nothing here, nothing .
Brielle - We have to be there at 1, my dad just came over to watch him 12:37 AM

"How have you guys been doing ?" The Therapist questioned with her notebook and pen
"Better ." I answered
"Why do you look so distant ?"
I moved closer to him and held his hand .
"What are you thinking about ? How have you been feeling lately Brielle ?"
"Better, it's times when I look at him and I want to knock him out cause I'm thinking about everything that has happen . But I've been feeling okay, it's too soon to tell . Obviously he's going to be on good behavior till he gets comfortable ."
"We can't talk like that, when we do we end up putting our other partner down ."
"It always happen so why not say it, you want honesty in these sessions and I'm suppose to say what I feel ."
