Avoiding Trey has become a full time job for Deanna. She'd sneak in and out of that damn apartment like some super spy on a top secret mission . If she wasn't at work she was with Keith hardly ever coming home unless she needed to get a change of clothes, like today. Dee really didn't want to chance running into Trey but she was really getting tired of wearing the same four outfits over and over again. Oh and Just to make it clear she wasn't avoiding Trey because she didn't trust him, All of this was because she didn't trust herself. Even though Trey was the one who kissed her Deanna still felt guilty. After all she had a boyfriend. When Trey kissed her the right thing to do would've been to push him away the moment their lips connected but she didn't. Instead, she kissed him back and if that wasn't bad enough she actually liked it. liked it so much that before she went to sleep she fingered myself visualizing just how far things could have gone. Dee rubbed her clit vigorously, juices coating her fingers until her body shook she even moaned out his name. Deanna felt so guilty after that because she couldn't help but feel like in a way she was betraying Keith.

Deanna continued to pack her overnight bag and after making sure she had everything she needed it was time to go. Slowly she exited her bedroom hoping to creep out unnoticed. Only she wasn't so lucky Tahlia and Trey came walking in the door with little Lay Lay. They were all laughing and by the looks of it they were returning from getting some ice cream.

"Hey girl wassup? I feel like I never see you anymore." Tahlia pulled Deanna into a hug holding her right hand up to make sure her ice cream didn't get on her.

"Yeah . Just been super busy." Deanna told her trying her best to ignore the fact that Trey's eyes were burning holes through her skin.

"Hi Deanna." Layla smiled jumping up and down. That little girl was so adorable Deanna couldn't help but smile. Deanna wanted to stay. Stay awhile and chat with her bestie and spend some time with Lay-Lay but she couldn't not with Trey here.

"I'll see you guys later." Deanna moved to get out of there as soon as possible but Trey stood in her way. When Dee moved to her right Trey moved to his left landing in her way every time. She wasn't sure if he was doing it intentionally but she was growing irritated. They did however get it together and stopped moving about awkwardly long enough for Deanna to get out the door, but not without Trey following her. She got down the hall and around the corner in front of the elevator when he grabbed her arm.

"What!" Deanna snapped turning around to face him.

"Are you avoiding me?" He asked.

'YES! I'm avoiding you!' That's what she wanted to say but a simple. "No." was all that would escape her lips.

He wasn't buying that lie not even for the discount. "Is it because I kissed you?

Deanna pressed down on the elevator button "I understand It was a mistake we got caught up in a moment that should have never happened." she pressed the button again.

"It wasn't a mistake... at least not to me." Trey told her.

"Trey I have a boyfriend and you... you have women of your own. A list a very long list might I add."

She had a man yes and yeah he had 'situations' but that didn't make Trey regret kissing her. "They mean nothing to me!"

"And I do?" Deanna questioned with a raised brow. Did he not know that she knew him?

" Deanna like you!"

Deanna bit back her bitter laugh. A lot of guys 'liked her' Paul liked her and he dumped her after she gave him her virginity, Louis liked her for kisses behind the bleachers and half her lunch money. Jamal liked her just so he could come over to the house and sneak into the bathroom with her sister Regina so they could do the nasty and the list goes on. Like is a word guys use when they decide to use her and Deanna didn't know Trey's reason she didn't know what he wanted from her but he wasn't going to get it.

"Whatever cruel joke you're playing quit it alright!"

"Look me in the eyes Deanna." Trey said and in that moment she hated herself for doing it. "I do. don't ask me when because I don't know but I'm not playing some cruel joke. you aren't a joke to me I would never do that to you."

Even if he did like her his like was nothing to her comparison to love. "I'm with Keith."

"Fuck him!" Trey shouted his fist punishing into the metal elevator door. "He is constantly trying to change you!"

"He wants me to change for the better."

"Yeah sure! Because skinny is so much better than everything you are now!" he spoke sarcastically.

"whatever Trey." Deanna rolled her eyes.

"your oh so loving Keith didn't even think about introducing you to his parents until after you started working out and dropping weight!"

"Trey..."

"I'm not finished! I don't care about what you weigh. I know you're beautiful in and out How? Because I see you Dee. even when you don't see yourself. I see you." He stepped closer. "I .want. You."

The elevator doors finally opened and Deanna let out a sigh of relief. She wasted no time getting in and pressing the button to take her to the ground floor.

"I-I can't. I can't be with you Trey I can't even bring myself to be around you."

"Look this is ridiculous. You running from me. This is your apartment I'm a guest. Deanna if I make you feel uncomfortable I'll leave."

The doors closed and although Deanna felt like Trey got the point she wanted Keith and they couldn't be anything but friends it didn't make her feel any better about herself. She felt like shit.

Trey went back into the apartment feeling down. He put his feelings out there something that NEVER happened before EVER now she was running from him. Trey didn't know how to go about any of this but one thing he did know for sure was that he didn't want Deanna feeling uncomfortable. Not in her own home so he made his mind up it was official. Trey was leaving. Tonight.

"What was that?" Tahlia asked. Layla was sitting on the couch enjoying her ice cream.

"Nothing." No way was he going to talk to Tahlia about this.

"Trevon Kahlil Cooper!" Lia shouted his government name even Lay-Lay's eyes grew wide, babygirl knew it was serious. "What did you do? are you the reason why Deanna isn't coming home?"

Tahlia had both hands on her hips in full on bossy mode. She wasn't going to ease up or let go and Trey knew if he didn't tell her she was going to bother Deanna about it so he did. Trey told her everything starting from the very beginning and ending the story with how he felt how he never intended to feel for Deanna and how now that he did he was on foreign territory.

" well I'll be damned, my brother has fallen.." Tahlia spoke in a state of disbelief.

"I told her I want her and she chose him. She said she couldn't even bring herself to be around me" Trey felt like somebody had hooks plunged into his heart and was pulling in opposite directions, Once again something he wasn't use to feeling and he didn't like it one bit.
