STELLA'S POV

I don't know why I keep running around. Where do I go? I don't have anyone right now. Aleah's birthday is tomorrow and I haven't even gone shopping for her yet...

Maybe my mom was right. I am ruining my life. No matter how many times I say Ill change it, I don't. It's like a train. I'm constantly going down the same path. Never turning.

I pull up to my house and go I'm as quietly as I can so that way my mom can't yell at me anymore.

When I walk in Joseph sees me and smiles.

"Hey Stella!" He says pulling me in for a warm hug. Something I miss.

"Your too loud." I whisper.

"Stella?" My mom says walking to the dining room putting in earrings.

I never understood why she dresses older than she is. But I don't care right now, she hurts my feelings. Most importantly, me.

"Oops." Joseph whispers and laughs.

"Why are you here?" I ask him.

"He's going with me to look for decorations, or anything for Aleah's party." She says very calmly.

"Okay." I say standing there beside Joseph's right side.

"Yeah. We'll see you later pumpkin." Joseph smiles.

I sort of smile at his comment.

"Okay." Is all I say.

My mom walks past me the same way I did when I left.

They close the door and I just stand there wondering what I should so next.

I check my phone and I don't have any calls or texts from anyone.

Maybe I should just stay here by myself.

Maybe I should go shopping or something. I don't know.

It wouldn't hurt to find new clothes anyway.

I shake my head to myself and just relax. I can't seem to shake all the thoughts away... Especially Brad.

Could I be falling for him? Or could it just be me missing Harry and trying to just find someone because I can't be alone.

I pretty much just lay down until my eyes feel heavy.

Hours later I hear the door open and footsteps trailing to my closed door.

"Well looks like those sheep got the best of you." Joseph smiles.

"Oh! Hey." I say startled. I was kind of expecting my mom to say Brad was here.

"I didn't mean to barge but your mother is in the car waiting for you."

"Alright, thanks." I say rubbing my eyes lightly.

He closes my door and I shout to get his attention.

"Wait!"

He replies with a soft "Yes."

"Did you two already get decor for Aleah?"

"Yes." He smiles.

I nod.

Since I'm already dressed I run my hair with a brush, touch up my lipgloss, and crutch myself to her car.

As I'm approaching her vehicle she rolls down the window to save me and my leg from the cold.
