(2010)
When he sees me he'll know me
Without looking into my face
After all it will be a face he's never seen before
And he'll be longing to hold me
With that special kind of embrace
And with his fingers he'll trace every inch of my face
And his breath will be my heart's song
I'll vocalize it all day
And to the rhythm of his breath
My soul will sway
When my Champion comes, they'll be drums
Going off in my head
Announcing his arrival
Saying girl he's here
You've been patient all these years
And your Champion has come
And then we'll start dancing
In the middle of the square
And though everyone sees us
It won't feel like we're there
Shower me with laughter
Grace me with a smile
Champion don't rush to go
Please stay with me a while
But when my Champion goes, All the world shall know
Every living soul
All the great and small people
They'll say girls he's gone
Perhaps you waited too long
And your Champion is no longer here
But no other conqueror
Warrior or king
Can invade this heart
That for my Champion sings
