it was dark, that was all the forger knew, for he groaned as he stood up from his throne of metal and blood, cradling his head as it hummed in pain, the memories of all he had done rushing back to him,

"Primordials above, what have I done?!" He thought,

That would be a thing to contemplate on later, for now he had to escape, he had to warn the other deities of what they were actually facing, even if it might cost him his life, he would sacrifice himself for all the blood he had shed. Moving towards the large door, he peeked outside to see to iron guards standing still, ever vigilant, he winced in frustration. Once upon a time they were his greatest creations, beings he boasted of in front of the whole pantheon of deities,

Now they were his jailers,

Knowing what to do, he stood straight, face chiseled from Stone as he opened the doors. The guards turned, metal creaking as they kneeled in his presence, never suspecting that it wasn't him, it was him though, just a slight change, and to think all these centuries his kin's never noticed the difference in him.

"Tell me warriors, where is my servant?" His voice boomed across the room,

"Right here my lord" a voice growled that sent shivers down his spine,

Clamping down on his fear, he turned, to see the dog hybrid creature, kneeling in his presence,

"How long was I out?, how long did that weakling have control of this vessel?" He whispered,

The canine creature whimpered a bit,

" no less than a day my lord, he was not able to escape this fortress " the creature replied,

So he had been out for a day?, a day since his last attempt to escape, after realising what was truly happening, how were the primordials not aware of this?!

"Good, and the godlings?," he asked,

"The blood of sango still hides in his ancestors realm, while the blood of oya and zumji are under the protection of oya, but I told you this my lord, the last time" the beast said as it looked up,

The forger slammed the beast to the wall, it was close to discovering!

"I asked for the information, is it your place to question my authority?" He said coolly, heart beating in his chest at the thought of his chance escaping,

"No oh dark one, mercy oh dark one!" It whimpered in fear,

"Leave me, I would like to think of this in peace" he said,

The beast growled in surprise,

"The master said never to think!" The beast said,

The forgers eyes opened in fear,

Primordials above,

Moving fast he whipped out his machete and sliced the two guards before they could move on him, releasing flames as the beast fell backwards in fear, and he dashed off, towards the iron gates,
