peter stumbled forward as his feet began to feel numb. ❝g-guys? i don't feel good.❞
❝peter?❞ you turned towards him, just in time to catch him as he fell into you. he clutched at your new suit that tony stark got you. ❝i don't wanna go. please. i don't wanna go.❞
you slowly and gently lowered him to the ground, peering down at him and tightly grabbing his hand. ❝hey-hey, peter! you're alright. look at me,❞ he gazed into your eyes with tears. ❝you're going to okay, okay?❞
he lifted his hand, watching as it slowly turned to ash. your mouth hung open as you choked back a sob. ❝we'll bring you back, alright? i'll bring you back. i-i promise!❞
you bent down, softly pressing your lips to his. you stayed there as long as you could before you felt air below you. opening your eyes, all that was left on the dusty ground was peter's ashes.
you closed your eyes tightly, letting tears fall freely. your hands dug into the ground, squeezing the dirt and ash between your fingers.
after a moment, you gasped as you unexpectedly fell forward. lifting your hands, you saw your arms slowly denigrate into ash. you let another sob out as tony, nebula, drax, mantis, and quill gaze down at you in sorrow.
looking up to your former teammates, you stared at tony. ❝bring peter back...okay? for me.❞
as you vanished before them all. tony let out a shaky breath, turning his eyes away. ❝they were only sixteen.❞
