"Alina?" Chandler asked me for the millionth time.
This was totally typical. I've always heard of whenever an Alpha gets in some fight with another Alpha, they always try to hurt the mate. Why?
Did I do anything to them?!
"Alina, are you okay?" Chandler asks me concerned and I just stare at him.
"I'm fine." I mumble and he gives me a look of disbelief.
"Alina-?"
"I just.. need some time alone." I turn my back on him and start running to my car.
I have to move in with Chandler Jones... We're going to be living under the same roof. If someone would have told me this a few months ago, I would've been ecstatic. So, why does it feel like I'm about to have a panic attack about it right now?
But that's the least of my concerns.
Drug dealers want to possibly hurt me. Oh you know, the usual. Are they going to keep me locked up in Chandlers house? I get out of school in two weeks!! When schools over, their probably not even going to let me go anywhere. The thought of that made me groan as I got in my car and started driving home.
I still can't even get over the fact that it was so easy for my parents to just let me stay with Chandler. My moms hates him. I mean, I get that our pack is still recovering and Chandlers is stronger, BUT STILL.
"Ahhh!!" I screamed in frustration also in a totally sixteen yr old- I hate my life, way.
"She can't move out, she's my only baby girl!!" I heard my mom complain from the dining room and I froze, not wanting to get caught.
"It was bound to happen sometime Delayla!!" He snaps angrily and I could only imagine what my moms face looked like.
Suddenly, this big golden retriever comes running to me. Who is this?! My eyes widen as it comes charging after me. I start backing up from it.. and into my parents view. Crap. The dog paws at me instantly.
"Why are you home so early?" Mom asks, wiping tears from her face and my dad rolls his eyes.
"She knows, of course." He points out and I feel myself trapped.
"Daddy, I don't want to go." I try but he shakes his head.
"We're doing this to protect you."
"He is. I don't agree with any part of this, or Chandler!!" She huffs and then calls the dog to her.
"Your father even bought me this dog to replace having you-!" She tells me and my dad doesn't object.
Well I feel loved.
It came time to moving day and all my stuff was packed in Boxes. Everyone was loading them in Chandlers truck.
I didn't have much, almost all clothes.
"I can't imagine you not being my neighbor anymore!" Chrissy tells me as we hug goodbye.
"You do know that you'll see me everyday at school." I joke.
"Schools over in like two weeks!" A smile creeps on her face,"Hell next time I see you, you'll probably be knocked up."
"CHRISSY!!" I shriek and we both start laughing.
"Alina, it's getting late." Chandler called from his truck and I nodded. I gave my last goodbyes to mom and dad, then got in Chandler's truck.
As we drove away, I felt my heart tightening. I won't see my Family everyday anymore..
"Ugh, so the elders know about you but the rest of the pack doesn't know that they have a Luna yet.. we should have a ceremony or something soon." He says and their was only one thing I really heard.
"Wait what?" I asked dazed.
"I said, the elders don't-"
"I'm the Luna." I whispered more to myself. I could tell Chandler was smiling cheekily beside me.
I forgot all about that part..
"I don't think I'm ready for this Chandler." I looked over to him to find him already staring at me.
Chandler grabbed my hand and my breathing hitched.
"You'll be the best Luna there is." He reassures me and gives my hand a squeeze.
We pull up at his huge house.. okay more like Mansion and bring my boxes in. Chandler starts unloading my stuff in his room-
"Woah what are you doing?" I ask panicked and he looks up at me innocently.
"Umm putting your stuff away, I can't do that?" He mocks me.
"Not in your room!" I exclaim.
This causes him to stand up and be nearly and inch away from me.
"What's wrong with that sweetheart?" He murmurs," What's mine is yours."
He makes me weak to my knees but I can't give in-
"O- okay" I stutter and Chandler steps away from me grinning, knowing he won.
DANG FLABBIT! Why did he have to look like a Calvin Klein model?
"I'm going to go shower." Chandler tells me and goes into the bathroom.
"Alright I'm going to make something to eat." I say and can't help but feel like we're playing house.
The old lady that I always see was mopping the floors. She looked up at me when I came into the kitchen. A weary look came on her face. She probably thought I was trouble for when I wrecked Chandler's room. I hope she didn't have to clean that up. I looked at the time on the clock. It was 9.
"Hi I'm Alina and you are..?" I questioned and she stopped mopping.
"Tina, the house cleaner.. Luna." A familiar smile comes on her face and I smile also.
How'd she know?
"Tina, it's getting late.. you should take off for the night." I say feeling bad for the poor women but suddenly she gets panicked.
"Oh no I can't!"
"You must. I'm Luna, remember." I remind her.
Wow that felt weird.
She looks at me thankful but then her occasional glances look unsure.
"Alright, thank you Luna." She finally says, putting up the mop and then heading out.
I grabbed some cookies I found out the cabinet and started stuffing my face.
"What did she call you?" Chandler asks teasingly behind me and I turn around to make a sarcastic remark when HOLY. POOP.
Chandler had on nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist, showing off his lean and muscular torso. His hair was also wet from his shower and I'm probably staring like a love struck puppy, I just noticed.
I closed my mouth as Chandler had a smirk playing on his face. He grabbed a cookie and sat by me. HE WAS STILL HALF NAKED
I'm going to faint.
"Why aren't you dressed?" I blurt out and Chandler's eyebrow raises.
"Why are you dressed?" He asks seductively and I slap him arm, blushing deeply. Frack.
"Just go-"
Bang bang bang.
Someone knocked harshly at the door. Chandler flew up from his seat. One arm holding his towel, the other over me.
"Alina, go upstairs and lock the door." He instructs and I get up but don't go upstairs.
I watch as Chandler grabs a small gun from under his coffee table and opens the door revealing -
To be continued..
