Friday

It gets to be 5o'clock, Justin rang a little while ago saying he was leaving.

There's a knock on the door. I go over and open it.

"Hey." He says.

"Hi." I smile. "Come in."

He walks inside and takes a look around.

"It's nice."

It's not a bad apartment considering that I have a child and not awesome pay.

"Yeah. Take a seat."

He sits on the couch.

"Do you want anything to drink or eat?" I ask.

"I'm okay for the moment, thanks."

I start to hear crying which must mean Lily's awake from her nap.

I excuse myself and go and get her. I bring her out to the living room.

"Lily, I want you to meet someone. This is Justin, Justin this is Lily."

He stands up.

"Hi." He says in a really cute baby voice. "She's so precious."

"She is."

Just then my phone started ringing.

"Hey, sorry, do you mind if you take Lily for a sec?"

"Of course." He holds his arms out and I place her in them.

I go in the other room and answer my phone.

Justin's Point of View

She is the most precious thing I've ever seen. I was worried I'd break her if I held her.

I carefully take a seat on the couch and cradle her in my arms.

She looks up at me with most beautiful look on her face. She seemed to enjoy me being here. Her eyes are large and gleaming at me.

She's making my heart melt. She's too precious for this world.

She grabs onto my hand and holds my finger. She looks satisfied with her actions and giggles.

After hearing that giggle, I fell in love with this child.

Nia's Point of View

"Yes Maria I did that, it should be in your inbox. I have to go now, is that all?"

"That's all." She hangs up.

I walk back into the lounge room and see Justin sitting with Lily, not taking his eyes off her. It's probably the cutest thing I've ever seen.

"Sorry about that, work."

"It's all good."

I take a seat next to him.
