Mitch's POV

7:00am, I got up and flicked the light switch, the room lit up,

“Thank god,” I said to myself, I picked up my phone and was astonished to see that I had 68 instagram notifications, but not the kind I usually get, I usually get ones like, someone has tagged you in a post or someone has mentioned you in a comment, but I got direct photos, most people usually don't bother because they know I don't really look at them, but I knew that there was something going on if I was getting this many, the first one I looked at was a picture of me with a heart around it, one of the usuals then the next one I looked at was just a black background with white writing saying #Mitchly, what did that mean? Mitchly, I just didn't get it at that point.

I got in my car and buttoned up my black and red chequered shirt, it was 11:30am I didn't want to turn up late, that would be embarrassing, I drove to paprica pizza and just drove to Emily's house from there, when I pulled up outside I beeped my horn and Emily came out straight away, she had jeans and a leather jacket on, when she was about to get in she banged her head on the top of the door,

“Maniskohandel!” she shouted while clutching her head,

“Uuh, bless you?” she sat in the seat and looked at me apologetically,

“Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you I speak a lot of languages so if I hurt myself or someone pisses me off I just swear at them in a different language to save me swearing at them in English, or getting me in trouble for swearing in the first place,”

“Ok...” I started driving,

“Ugh, I bet now you think I’m a total idiot,” she put her head back and sighed,

“not really, I just think your kinda smart for knowing different languages,” she looked at me with hope in her eyes, “In fact you're really smart because you speak different languages, play a ton of instruments, you sing and you're pretty,” she smiled,

“Aww, thanks, you big suck up,” she ruffled my hair and laughed,

“There's another thing to add to the list,” she looked at me confused, “You have a good sense of humour too,” she smiled at me again,

Emily's POV

when we got to the park, we stepped out and I stretched my arm, but when I turned around I saw a football heading straight for us,

“Mitch!” he turned to me and the football hit him in the back of the head slamming him into the side of his car, and sending the ball flying towards me, it hit me in the chest winding me, “Javla,” I wheezed to myself, I caught my breath and looked up to see several  teenagers running over to us,

“Whoa, man are you ok?” one of them said to us, “We're so sorry,”

“It's ok man,” Mitch replied, I ground my teeth,

“Ya know where the ball went?”

“Uhh, Emily?” I looked down and saw the ball wedged between the car and the floor, I bent down, pulled it out and threw it over to them,

“Watch what you’re doing next time,” I rubbed my sore chest,

“Will do, sorry again,” the group ran back to the big open field and Mitch turned back to me,

“You ok? You don't look so good,” I felt my insides churn and I wrapped my arms around my stomach, I gipped, Mitch ran around the car and wrapped his arms around me,

“Hey, what's wrong?” I tried to speak but my chest tightened,

“I... need to... spit,” I said with a full mouth, he took his hands off me and I spat on the grass and wiped my mouth, “blood, great,” I said,

“You ok now?” Mitch put his arm around my shoulder,

“Yeah, I guess,” he smiled and we started walking, looks like that was the best first date ever... not.

Mitch's POV

When the ball hit my head and bounced into Emily's chest I wasn't sure what to do,

“Javla,” I heard her say, wasn't sure what it meant but it sounded Swedish or something, I was about to turn around to yell at whoever it was who hit Emily but a guy was running up to us,

“Whoa man, are you ok?” he said, “We're so sorry,” I rubbed the back of my head,

“It’s ok,” I didn't really mean that, I just didn't want to look like a psycho in front Emily,

“Ya know where the ball went?” he asked, ok so I had been hit in the head and Emily in the chest, possibly winded, and all he cared about was his ball, I still tried to keep my cool, I didn't really want to think right now,

“Uhh, Emily?” she looked around then bent down coming back up with their ball, she threw it back to them,

“Watch what you’re doing next time,”

“Will do, sorry again,” they ran back to the field they came from, I turned around to look at Emily to see if she was ok but when I looked she was groaning with her hands clasping her chest and stomach,

“You ok? You don't look so good,” she gipped and I ran straight over to her, I wasn't sure what to do so I just did the first thing that came into my head, so I just wrapped my arms around her, “hey what's wrong?”

“I need to spit,” her mouth sounded full, I released her and she spat on the grass next to us,

“Blood, great,” she turned around and wiped her mouth,

“you ok now?” I said while putting my arm back around her,

“I think so,” I smiled at her glad that she was… sorta ok, after walking for a bit she looked better, her face wasn’t as pale, it was still a nice day so we decided to go to the activity centre in the park, we looked at the activity board and saw outdoor rock climbing in 6 minutes, we agreed on doing it, when it began I also found out that Emily was also an ex-rock climber, but she said she stopped because it was putting too much strain on her body, now I’m not really an athletic person when it comes to stuff like this, and believe it or not, that is the thing that surprises people the most about me, when we started Emily agreed to come on a smaller wall with me, she went first but struggled slightly at the top, probably because she hadn’t climbed for 3 years, when I tried I found it surprisingly easy, we moved onto a bigger wall which took me a lot longer to complete, but when Emily went on it she found her edge, she got up in 1 minute flat, then came an overhanging wall, there was a slope which went from the floor to the ceiling, but it sloped towards us so we couldn’t use it to help carry our weight, both of us struggled on this, especially me, I lost my footing this time and fell backwards dangling from the bungee holding me up,maybe im not really cut out for this kind of stuff.
