A New Beginning

In Love Again?

But his hug actually felt warm and calming. I felt safe in his arms, it was like there was nothing that could harm me. When I am with him, I would be protected. Crazy right? I just met him and all these feelings. Am I- Am I in l-l-love again!? No! It can't be. How can a person fall in love twice? It's not possible right? Right...?

New Guy: Feeling better now?
Me: Ye- yeah. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have-
New Guy: Don't be. I know you're hurt but it's not your fault.
Me: Thanks <3
New Guy: No problem:) .......... Wanna cry more?
Me (blushing): No.

*I smile a little*

New Guy: Now there's the beautiful smile I've been longing to see.
Me: Thanks again.
New Guy: That's what friends are for right?

Friends. Why did I feel a sudden pain when he said that? We just met right? And we ARE just friends. So why this sadness? Why this pain?

Me: Uh... ye-yeah.

* the bell rings*

We go to our classes. Following that, we started meeting everyday. We became great "friends". We talked everyday, we hung out together. And in no time he became my best friend from the new guy. And my crush from my best friend.
       One day he invited me to his place for dinner. I was sooooooo excited. My crush invited me for dinner at his place!!!! I was internally screaming! This was the happiest moment of my life! Aaahhhhh!!<3
          I was dressed in a LBD. I had to look my best. After all I was going to meet my best friend/ crush's family.

*I ring the doorbell*
*triiiinnnggg triiinnnggg*

Crush: Oh, hey! I was waiting for you.
Me: Aw- um.... I uh..... I mean, hi!

*Stupid girl, way to embarrass yourself *

*I heard a voice from inside*

Crush's mom: Who is it dear?
Crush: It's my friend, mom.

There it was again. The feeling of  deep sadness and pain. My heart felt like it was being squeezed by something. I started feeling dizzy but I kept my balance. My stomach churned, my throat became dry.
       He introduced me to his mom as his "friend".
