So the Captain had beaten him. But he hadn’t. He had a plan. Inferno knew that he would be caught, so he took the liberty of planting fire bombs along the roads surrounding Trafalgar Square. He would escape. Any moment now… The police car approached one of the fire bombs, which he put inside a backpack on the side of the road. This was it. He was still wearing the flame-proof armour, so he was safe. This was it… The bomb exploded, coating the police car and the surrounding road in fire. The car swerved and span out of control, and slammed into a shop on the side of the road. One of the police officers wasn’t moving, and the other one was struggling for breath. He leaned over to him, and grabbed the keys for the handcuffs. It was difficult, but he managed to unlock them. Dr Inferno kicked at the door, which was now a blackened mess. It opened easily. He went over to the back of the car, and opened the boot. He grabbed his flamethrower and mask, and disappeared into the streets.
