“I can’t believe this. It’s on every tabloid, magazine, and website from here to Mars.” Paul said slamming a stack of magazines all with headlines about Harry and I on the table. We were sitting on the bed staying quiet. “You can’t honestly believe this is going to be good for your career.” He looked at Harry. We stayed silent. There was nothing to say. We were in a lot of trouble. “You’re not allowed to see her again. We will get a car for her and her friends and it’s over. The two of you are done.” So much for everything turning out great. I knew it was too good to be true.

It seemed like everything in my life was too good to be true. Like when I was 14 and my crush asked me out. Well after a date with him and hanging out with his friends he just stopped talking to me. Turns out he was just using me as a joke. That wasn’t my only time when things seemed too good to be true, but this time, this was the worst thing that ever happened to be too good to be true.

“You can’t forbid me from seeing her!” Harry yelled back at Paul. “I’m 18! I can make this decision for myself.” You could tell he was upset.

“No Harry. This is for you and your career. I don’t care how old you are. It’s over for both of you. You’ve had fun. Now go pack, she’s leaving.” We got up and left the room. We were walking back to our room when  Harry just stopped walking and looked at me.

“I’m sorry.” He said with tear filled eyes.

“It’s fine. I’m used to it.” I said. I mean I was. That wasn’t a lie, even though I wish it was. I was the one staying strong here where as Harry was on the brink of tears.

“No. It’s not fine. I’m not listening to them. I’m going to be with you.” He said with a tear falling down his cheek. I wiped it from his face and hugged him.

“How do you plan to make this work? Your management watches you like a hawk and you won’t make it very far without security.” I was getting pretty upset now.

“I don’t know how this will work. It just will.” He yelled it then sat slid down the wall in the hallway. What was the use of going back to the room. As soon as I got there I had to pack and leave. How could they do this? He had his head in his hands and he was crying. It hurt me to see him cry. I sat down next to him and pulled his hands off his face forcing him to look at me.

“It’s not there’s to speculate if it’s wrong. I will fight to be with you. I’m telling you right now, I’ll break every rule in this whole world to see you.” I kissed him. I didn’t want to stop and neither did he.

“Harry!” Paul had opened the door. “I told you it was over between you two. Now she has to pack and leave. It’d be of your best interest not to kiss her either. It will just make it harder.” He walked out of the room and over to us. “Now come along now, seeing as you can’t walk to the room alone.” He walked us there and sat in the room while me and my friends packed.

Harry and I were in the room we slept in. I would put something in my bag and he would take it out. He wasn’t making this easy. I didn’t want him to though. The more he took things out, the longer I had with him, so I continued to let him take everything out of my bag for me to have to pack over and over again.

“Don’t take the necklace off.” He said wiping a tear from his eye.

“I won’t.” I said. I barely could talk, every word hurt. They couldn’t take him away from me. This wasn’t there choice, but obviously they thought it was.

“Text me everyday.” He said. I knew this was hard for him.

“I will, but what if they make you stop.” I asked. He stopped taking things out of my bag, but I also stopped packing altogether.

“They won’t. I pay for my phone, they can’t tell me to stop texting you and if I have to, I’ll change your name in my phone.” He hugged me. “Here.” he took his sweatshirt off and handed it to me. “I just need to know you have something of mine so I have to see you again.” I kissed him.

“I told you. Kissing will make this harder. Why isn’t she packed?” Paul yelled at Harry. I looked down.

“She’s almost done.” Harry said. He picked up some of my stuff and put it in my bag. He helped me pack in silence for the remainder of the time, while I wore his sweatshirt that had the sweet scent of him on it.

When we finished packing my bag he carried it out into the living room. I followed him. The other boys saw how hard this was on Harry. Louis even came up and hugged him. He was the one that showed us earlier that there was a really big report on TMZ about it right before Paul stormed in and made us leave with him.

Saying goodbye was hard. I didn’t know when or if I would ever see him again, which broke my heart into about 4 million pieces. He hugged me and you could tell neither of us wanted to let go. He whispered something in my ear. I could barely make out what he said but I knew what he did say after a second.

The drive home was brutal. There was ear piercing silence, but I still heard his faint whisper in my ear.

“Check your bag makeup bag when you get home.” I didn’t know what he meant but it was obvious he put something in it.
